I don't know why but your RNS message and general instinct led me to top up yesterday at 4.2...now have 12.5K in Clontarf at an average of 0.10. I think I'm well positioned at these crazy low valuations.
I don't think that will happen as RF financing is designed to support commercialisation and see them over the line. I doubt RF would allow drawdowns without seeing GDR move up the bell curve toward break-even. Problem is that they have no income at all to slow the burn rate down and they too must have concerns. I think they will keep financing them on worse and worse terms until they own the bulk of the business. Overall investors are suitably kept in the dark and that will likely be because bad news is on the way.
Still taking a Tern for the worse. Like i said the other week 10% of your money back is better than zero
All you have to do is figure out how long 4m will last and then make a punt as the next raise will be needed and some good news therefore required. This will be well south by then.
that's easy babis - lithium price has collapsed and sentiment in this space is poor. furthermore if you want to believe ghana might pop up with any resolution forget it. the laws against ***s un all is going to lead to the worldbank withdrawing funding, so no economic miracle happening there anytime soon. this is a multi-year affair and dependent on a contract with the bolivian gov and proof dle is a scalable solution. if so there will be fundraises/jvs and all sorts so doesn't mean we'll all make fortunes. from this low base, its worth a punt. i have 10k in this at circa 0.11 and will wait.
Hahahaha!!! That's too funny. You know more than Lorna :-:::-) which ain't much.
Classic aim. Mgt makes a positive announcement to raise funds and when the 4m runs dry you ll get more good news and another raise .
Jimi - GDR deramps itself - I'm just providing the narrative as to why.
Because the money is going to run out before it can reach breakeven. Why buy now when you can pick it up for scraps in 12 months?
No Stephen - I think everyone gets this is game-changing technology. No doubt!
Its just not everybody gets that it won't be the shareholders who enjoy the benefit or upside. Existing SH's pay for the development and another business gets to enjoy the commercialisation.
Jimi is like the Knight from Monty Pythons Holy Grail. Just a torso with no arms or legs still wanting a fight!:-::::-)
The killer for me is "it is seeking to divest in a way that maximises shareholder value". the smoke and mirrors here is that they now can't rely on AVA6000 not cos it doesn't work but because commercialising it will take years and all their eggs is in one basket. The trouble is there won't be a buyer anytime, as you'll just wait until the money gets spent, let Avacta do the donkey work and then pick this up for less when its further along the curve. Next year they'll go to a Riverfort or someone for a death spiral finance deal to try and get it over the line. Either way we know a) nothing is going to happen (aka commercialisation) this year or next. and b) they will need more cash before anything substantive happens. this is dead and no I'm not shorting, its just based on my own painful experience. Mark my words this will very slowly ebb away into single figures. We've paid for the management teams salaries and that is it.
They were looking at getting the placement away at that level!!! Might have seen more management money at that point. All the good news will come when they need more cash in 18 months time. This aint going nowhere and there are better opportunities elsewhere. Sell.
You flippin loony!!! 2 years hahaha!!! double it minimum. This is a promising and yet highly speculative long term investment that will be traded like crazy. Not all such projects work out be warned.
What??I'm despicable for what exactly? I didn't make you invest your money and play the pied piper encouraging others to jump off the cliff with you. Take responsibility. Nothing in my post was personal and you infer that I take pleasure in posting. What I am saying is that 10 or 20% of what you put in is better than 0%. Sorry if you think this is somehow going to turnaround when it ain't. Of course I full expect you to attack that comment as well on the basis that I don't know sh7t and are the "worst kind" followed by some niaive and spurious rubbish and projecture about sitting tight etc. Some people won't be told.
I remember all the rampers a couple of years back. They seem quiet after spaffing 90,% up wall. Still can lose 100% from here though. No value can be assigned to this crock.
What gives you the right to call people clowns or any slur just cos they have an opinion different to yours or see things from another perspective. I think you should take a deep breath chsnge your attitude apologise and approach your contributing with a different mindset. Its unnecessary and unpleasant.
The only buying is from existing holders trying to average down in the hope of a bounce and an escape route. Even if there is any good news it will be shortlived and hard to get out. Nothing game changing here going to happen as the business can't reach a point where it'll wash its face anytime soon.
Fair comment Blubay/Wimbledon. Appreciate Magafuli snuffed it and the latest govt more realistic and less authoritarian so hopefully no fat fingers get in the way of the HE1 pie!!!:-))
You hit on the main theme here in my head ShipWreck. Everyone banging on about flowrates when actually its all about the deal with the Tanzanian Govt. They are authoritarian and tried stealing Acacia Mining a few years back under John Magafuli. its the same political party and that is the main obstacle. Look at Ghana and other African countries and they are expert at getting in the way of themselves! If there is a rich prize here to be had, you can bet your ass it'll make the Govt think about any existing commercial terms. Whatever framework agreement for exploration companies exists it won't mean a hoot. I'm not full of trust in Tanzania and whereas I fully expect this to be commercialised in a positive way for shareholders, it could lose a good year or two in haggling processes, legal processes etc. This is normal.
