Interesting , all three new executives plus one regional executive have bought shares recently. Yet we have three longer serving execs who havent taken the plunge in all the years they have been involved. Peter Slabbert did buy some many years ago at a much higher price , even he hasn't taken this opportunity the average down, if only to show support for the business. jmo.

Interesting , all three new executives plus one divisional executive have purchased shares since joining CARCLO. Three of the previous regime yet are yet to dip their toes . Peter Slabbert (I think) has about 30,000 which he bought some time ago at a far higher price. Maybe he will take up the opportunity to average down sometime soon. The other two are looking a bit isolated from the newbies in my opinion. In their years with the company there never bought any shares, even, if only to show support for the business. Jmo

1983. I dont see a trading update next week either. I hope i'm wrong..
I have said before and now i'm more convinced with 4 directors purchases who needs an update. These might not be massive buys by some standards but with what this company has been through over the past years its a massive vote of confidence.
Having said that, Each director is putting circa £40k of their own cash on the line, thats good enough for me. And lets face it, what a market place to be in at such an extraordinary time.

Very nice indeed. Eric Joined the company in Jan, just a few weeks ago as we know.
Formerly CEO and CFO of Spirent.. wouldnt take someone of that caliber long, to suss it out.

Did though look at the latest FT tear sheet. We are getting traction again for sure. Take a look. "CARCLO major shareholdings" into search...

If you look at Morning Star CARCLO page it lists Major shareholders.
By accident that page popped onto my screen this am. I was surprised at the info which for one included our chairman's holdings. Is it up to date I asked myself? The chairman's is ! It's not the same as the annual report for sure, that has just schroders, Janis, lakestreet et al. Look now , interesting indeed.

Our chairman continues to stamp his own mark on the company. Rightly so in my opinion.
Carclo has had a woeful time over the past 10 or so years, we should rid ourselves of that legacy now Wipac has gone.
Our next change could be the CEO , unless Phil White proves himself indispensable.
On a different point, who on earth can make money trading 1 , 2, 5 or 10 shares in a company of our size . Even computer generated trades have to pay stamp duty ....Also ADVFN were my place to go for accurate share prices over the years . All that has now passed, for the life of me I can't weight it up now.

The company can't shout to loud about what they are doing, being contractors. It wouls be nice to see the website updated/ renewed where they could add up-to-date info about whats going on. Maybe though they feel its not neccessasary . But agree with what you say Warren and keep adding. Jmo

Gives a vote of confidence in CARCLO with a circa 50k investment in the companies shares.
Good news for fellow shareholders.

One thing we do know , 2 injections are required to administer the vaccine.
I wonder how many tests per person will be required. I know folks that have had a number already. Schools are required to test children on a regular basis,. To keep essential businesses running staff will need to be checked regularly. Hopefully the company are geared up and producing already. They have said there will be a small contribution to earnings this time. Lets hope so. Jmo.

I've held many shares over the years, one being Tremor. At the same time ive tried to add value making the odd contribution in relevant forums . Sorry, but Tremors board is more like an old people's home than a forum to advance knowledger . To get the best posters the content needs to be relevant.

I agree with your sentiment regarding Wipac and its management which are now history. Lets concentrate on CTP and the new team. Looks to me like they are doing a stellar job.

Exactly Warren. I believe thie low valuation is due to the pension deficit, however manageable. Folks don't understand it. And whilst you point and also wigwammers is absolutely valid without the deficit our market cap could be 150 million more than it is today.

I sure did read the recent update and also the Annual report.
My message 're fundraise was in fact prompted by the update. You can feel the chairmans frustration with the pension as bond values had fallen adding a further to the deficit when in fact asset values had done quite well. I dont recall what bank covenants the company have regarding the pension deficit but they will have some for sure. So not saying we are having a 700% dilution just speculating or opening up for discussion the issue of a "rescue" type recapitalization to rid the company of the problem once and for all.
Yes, mention was made ref, the Aviation business but in reality it's a small part of the business and action has been taken to mitigate any impact.
