Tesla have signed with CATL. This will allow Tesla to pivot to LFP cells for all standard cars. These cells have lower power density but for most cases perfectly adequate. CATL has bought a bloody big mine in Argentina. It does seem odd though that TESLA has not looked at mine just next door but then secrets is the key to successfully wrong footing competition.

I sold at 100p and bought back in for the diess meeting when delay announced sold up for a couple of pence hit. But not prepared to watch and wait I got caught out at last drop not doing it again. Personally I think this is about bottom but will buy on a decent tree shake so as to mitigate negative space.

VW probably delayed because of politics. But who in their right mind would hold a meeting 1 day after an election. Someone a bit over confident somewhere. From a VW perspective if announcement was going to be made it must be bedlem at board level. I think diess could be in big trouble over this. You look at xpeng p7 it's 18 grand full electric miles ahead of EU auto not being imported though at moment. VW arrogant pr**ks think they have all the time in the world(that's a song to he he). Sales down 30%+ TESLA up 70% says it all really.

You are correct I have just watched a you tube vid by strouble of Tesla fame. This guy was second in command of Tesla and started redwood that recycles lithium batteries. He pointed out that all the Big Auto has missed the boat and have plans to electrify their fleets. He said they have not taken into account of the supply chain shocks this will create. Tesla are constrained but has the knowledge and experience to mitigate these issues. So could be an Almighty scrap for materials this makes me feel better on lithium again???

I will wait and watch. I still believe EMH will come good but slippage is a bugbear I don't want at moment. See what happens to gov of chez as they are calling the shots. I think Keith has given up and just waiting for share options to come good. The only other EU lithium plays I see is Cornish lithium and savv is this correct.

It looks like VW are not going to move timelines of project TRINITY the are going to be eaten alive by Tesla and Chinese. I sold out yesterday bloody fed up with EMH. With Keith incommunicado I feel a sp slide on the cards because of inaction. Obviously we are going to miss the lithium boom this would have paid for mine in very short order. If anyone is looking at EMH they will not be interested in 4 years delay if this is the case. The commercial case for mine is out the window as politics and timelines are running to a different tune.

Mr diess had a meeting with 120 top managers and unions. He told them when Tesla opens its German factory competition will be brutal. VW will be uncompetitive and will lose massive market share and if lucky will survive the next decade. When he meets babis I wonder if he will announce a change in timeline of project TRINITY and bring forward timeline to head off Tesla.

The new generation of EV has been tailored for western tastes. They are at least 2 years ahead of West in electronics inside the car. As the Chinese push into the West the offering will be Stratified into price/ quality of their offering. Also big meeting at VW group withe dies and all top managers in how to speed up the pivoting into E V. Diese has said VW uncompetitive and are in full panic mode. Wolf burger to have major changes ready for EV.

There is 27 gigs factories in Germany being held up in planning by everyone and his dog. Byd, xpeng, red wall are moving to export to EU. They prices are crazy. The xpeng is a very strong product. German big Auto better get a move on. The Chinese offering is very competitive and well made cars at very low prices they could wipe the floor of competition as they expand sales. Mr dies knows this and I think he is trying to accelerate the change to EV
