30 days was misleading. 3 months would have been unacceptable to investors. Some take “fully operational” as an inference. Tema suggests it is already fully operational. Both now look like WSG’s favourite occupation. Can kicking. One partners taking payment whilst the other seems like an unsatisfactory relationship - abusive even - especially if you’re still negotiating in that phase.

I can’t get a grip on why it matters whether you hold or not - if you want to offer an opinion. I chat to mates about the virtues of McLaren v Ferrari. Convivial debate. Neither of us can afford one. But we can still debate and disagree.

Does holding more shares than someone else make your opinion more valid?

I think as TC points out routinely, if something died they be obliged to advise the market. Then you get to the SPAngel/WSG definition of died. I suspect as long as we still get a Christmas card, there’s a chance.

At least we know about the material developments. They’re as rare as hens teeth. And when we do have one, Africa, they forget to update or it’s slipped off the plate and into the pampas.

Perhaps that’s what’s meant by strategic investors.

30 days was his/they’re anticipated timescale. Sufficiently confident/needy? to put it in an RNS. And the market still waits. It’s why the market is so dismissive of Bumbly Comm’s.

They are slowly winding down expectations on WASS, is my interpretation.

17th August ‘19. “Whilst airport security has been and remains a MAJOR focus of our business....”

21st September ‘18. “Whilst airport security remains the KEY focus of our Managed Services Division...”

Despite choosing to remind us about WASS - they then elect to provide no update on a partially signed contract in Africa.

I think the market assumes they’re all dead despite suggestions to the contrary.

I agree it’s different - but that doesn’t make it nailed down. 30 days, they thought, turns into 75 and counting, suggests they (both sides perhaps) don’t have much idea of when/if it’ll complete. That’s like missing the dartboard, missing all of the cork surround and hitting the poor unsuspecting bloke coming out of the gents, in the middle of the chest.

But it’s not just red tape or contract overload for poor old MPS. They haven’t/can’t agree terms yet. It’s not a formality despite Team Scan’/Westy running amok.
