Not necessarily the day before. Sometimes (it’s only a vague recollection) 2, 3 or 4 days beforehand.

You can almost hear all that furious finalising going on (that should have been done two months ago).

It only took three months to go from ‘of course she’s fit for purpose’ and not a thought of selling the ferry service - otherwise that comment might be disingenuous - to - we had an epiphany - decided instead to dispense with the ferry service - identified a buyer - agreed terms and sold it.

Strange. But shows they can do it.
