I’m being a bit of a hypocrite - ‘being a miserable old scroat - I regularly fall foul of rose tinted bulls. AIM BoD’s invariably disappoint and thus my pessimism/realism is more often than not, justified. Else I’d be picking brilliantly every time and be embarrassingly wealthy!! ;-)

…and “told you so” goes down even worse.

I know Rids and I’m content that he is an ever hopeful, similarly frustrated and vigilant LTH. I wouldn’t say the same about Ken’ - I don’t know Hunky or the history there.

I understand that folk get irritated if (position) posting is inconsistent. Doubleheadedcoin (there’s a clue) was the classic!!

But ultimately if we (my perspective) have a grouse, it should be with the company (I accept that these are difficult times) for failure to deliver - not with the pratting about of insignificant traders.

The CEO thought that 2021 would be great - half way through H2 and nothing. That puts a question mark over his judgement/output, for me.

Some(one?) stepped out this morning - for less than 10% probably. They have a different agenda/modus’, expectation - and hopes to me. So I don’t give a to$$.

I’m fed up with NDA’s and need to see a flow of this pipeline materialise in the form of juicy RNS’s. A single success will be seen as that and might produce a decent spike. Multiple RNS’s are required to convince the market and support a sustainable rerate. They are running out of time.

I’m hopeful rather than expectant.

I don’t want my previous comments misconstrued. They apply to everyone. In my view due diligence involves contact with the board - then believing about 20% of what they say ;-)

I know Rid’s and am content that he is a LTH and ever hopeful that Star will shine one day. Hope is a human condition especially when money is involved. That the BoD haven’t delivered on that hope, isn’t his doing.

Endless posting on ITrack India, how many containers are congesting the ports of planet earth, or Russian procrastination - are tenuous and unnecessary. We know that Star is staring at massive addressable and very topical markets - and failing to take advantage of same.

The grouse for most investors should be BoD failings not fellow investor/trader patently pratting about.

What do the board say about DHL and Polaris - because, let’s face it CropX’s growth doesn’t, historically, get reflected here.

Christ some folk have an interesting/weird idea of what a spike looks like. If you consider something a sub 20% rise a spike, you’re trading.

If those who are speaking to the board regularly enough and hearing noises that comfort their decision to invest here - why would you concern yourself about others shenanigans.

Take the spread out and today’s movement is paltry - better to be blue than red granted - but not remotely exciting.

If there’s a Queen’s award for giving out awards prematurely?

IF we get through September and op’s haven’t started then all the timing provisions in the contract have been disregarded/gone out the window. Is it any wonder that the market is unresponsive?

I don’t want to get in a protracted argument- but I just trying to point out that brilliant products don’t sell if the are too expensive.

You’d have loved it here in 2017. Collaboration with Bosch - couldn’t wish for a better partner - developed a brilliant product Kylos Air and… it didn’t sell - even to Bosch.

Did the DHL competition simply focus on function & capability - or F&C/$? There’s a big difference.

If it’s such a brilliant product - why no significant orders as yet? Weren’t folk allegedly foregoing PoC and expected to just order?

Fingers crossed (for a DHL deal) more in hope than expectation.

I’m not invested here for awards or PoC experiments. Lokies1 was award winning - ‘didn’t sell.

I’ve noticed that Starcom pre IPO turned rev’s of 7m with just under 1m pre tax profit - and that 10 years later (albeit after two extraordinary year they do just 1m-ish of sales in a half year. Even if you go back thru ‘17, 18 & 19. There’s been no progress aside from the compound increase in SAAS.

Is it that time of year already. Expectations held by bulls now reconciled that it’ll be all fine next year (Rodney).

Bless him, Tema ate his hat back in February. If you’d suggested that we’d still be waiting (and endured another placing in the interim) in September, you’d have been vilified on here.

So folk start comforting themselves with the reconciliation that it’ll come good next year - again.

…will, I’ll speculate, have since (the Lokies award) studied Starcom’s suite of products - and you’d have to conclude that if an organisation that covers virtually every aspect of logistics, can’t see merit in using them - then you probably have your explanation as to why nobody else does.

Would undoubtedly be a massive coup for Starcom - but big names have come and gone before. Bosch probably left the building with some useful IP. It’s why the markets unresponsive to the potential.

The products are evidently good, sales levels suggest (to me at least) that they are prohibitively expensive. Else folk would be buying in volume, no?

I’m a bit mystified on Lokies pricing too. I’ve seen €400/500, heard £500 and then one distributor at €268 (I recall, but can’t find it again.

Try buying a Lokies!! They’re harder to find on the web than a Ticket to Willy Wonkers. :-)

Any news on CubeMonks summer long hiatus? That should have been another decent deal that has seemingly vaporised.

I suspect that the “formality” that can’t be unsigned, apparently, has been waiting for c6months thus far. The “days or weeks” once allegedly suggested by Pete was if accurate, evidently wishful bo((ocks and those various timings set out in the contract 90 days to set up post ratification for a September start have been ignored. A September start might still happen, but only if sufficient preps have been undertaken without the assurance of a contract in place. Or they could start operations without a contract, which eliminates any leverage on timing.

Pete’s judgement on “days, not weeks” was evidently unreliable once more, which is the reason that the market disregards BT output. I won’t be surprised if it’s still unratified at Christmas. We’ll see. Without it something else has got to be signed, installed and cheque in the post, PDQ.

I suspect if Pete’s (revised) attitude on timing is that it isn’t an issue on such a large, long term project, then Christmas may well win.

We’ll see. It’s Africa. He should know better by now.

It would be less of a surprise if they slip right through H2 and nothing materialises, as usual, than actually closing something significant enough to justify a juicy RNS.

I’m order to sell isn’t exactly an unexpected occurrence.

We’re well in to H2 and nothing yet. Nothing occurrng in H2 would be less of a surprise than something significant being closed properly. No more CubeMonk type ‘might buy some, but not obliged to’ type arrangements please!

There’s a long list of potential deals, always has been - let’s hope for a “few” as intimated.
