You mean the CLN raise about 1 year ago and since that time they have grown Chill Connect as a business and announced distribution deals with some of the biggest companies in v4ping. They've just launched a new wholesale platform and they told us in February they were doing 150k a month and growing faster than they could manage. Pretty good for a business that could have been killed in 2024 and came back fighting. All small caps need money, it's why they come to market in the first place.

Bob - Chill no longer sells their own brand vapes and they definitely haven't been focused on CBD for a long time. They are now a distributor of products from other brands in their own right. Look at the RNS from 9 February it gives a good overview. Turning over more than £100k of sales a month, growing quickly and expanding into distributing other categories.

I don’t really see it as an insult, to be honest. They’ve already set out what they’re trying to do, and I'm sure they've just been getting on with executing it. You can still see activity on socials, products being pushed, distribution etc. it’s not like the company’s operations have gone dark.

Not every business lends itself to constant headline-worthy news. A distribution company coming out of a really tough couple of years is mostly about grind and relationship building I'm sure. There isn’t always a flashy update to put out and I'd rather they didn't put out white noise as that looks bad. Drip-feeding minor updates can actually do more harm than good.

The next audited accounts are expected end of Jan. Yes they'll certainly contain the difficult stuff everyone already knows about, but also hopefully some clarity around progress and direction into 2026.

2. The company isn't a 'mere marketplace', you're completely ignoring its distribution activities which it has set up under Chill Connect. This has done deals with some of the biggest companies in the world for vaping including ELF and Relx.

Yes the share price has gone lower, yes that's disappointing. The company is unloved right now but it's doing all the right things and has built a pretty impressive business considering what has happened to it in the past.

They have decent contracts! Look at the last few RNS announcements. Elf pouches, Relx vapes who are NASDAQ listed, SYP which seems pretty groundbreaking. Plus they've just won £200k off of an old adviser. Market is totally asleep to this turnaround story.

I get the itch for hard numbers but I think it makes complete sense to hold off right now. Firstly, Chill's in the middle of a major transformation from own-brand to distribution and services. It's a complete rebuild of their business model. Throwing out precise projections or growth percentages at this stage would be like trying to predict the weather a year out.

Their latest announcements lay out the foundation and partnerships with global names like RELX are big moves, but they’re still bedding in. Pinning down exact numbers now could lock them into unrealistic targets before the infrastructure fully gels. The tobacco and vapes market is huge but volatile. Tossing out projections when they're uncertain would be a misstep. If they overshoot and miss the bears will come running pounce. If they lowball to be cautious, the market might undervalue their potential. That's why the big strategic milestones matter. They're signalling progress without boxing themselves into a corner.

Investing isn’t about waiting for confirmed success with precise numbers. Recognise the potential in their pivot and back it now. By the time they’re publishing detailed figures it'll be too late to jump in.

It's far from a suicide note. They tell you in here that they're cutting costs and signing deals with some of the biggest in the game when it comes to vapes and nicotine. You also say that they failed to get any traction with their own products, completely writing off Morrisons, WH Smith and other deals.

Sure, no cash specifics in the RNS, but that’s par for the course for companies at this stage. Strategy first, detailed financials come later.

The CEO shared an article from Talking Retail today showing that nicotine pouch use has gone up 93% in the UK. Chill has just signed on as Master Distributor for Elf Pouch. You don't get much bigger brands than that in this space. Looks like Chill's making the right moves. Best brands in growing markets to create maximum opportunity.

SUP FY25 revenue £231 million

Phoenix 2 Retail reported revenue £200 million plus

Flawless Vape reported revenue around £100 million

Will take some time for sure but this is miles better from Chill than what went before

You're criticising the company for not showing numbers on day one of a strategic partnership? New contracts or technology tie-ups virtually never yield instant revenue. There’s always a development and market entry phase. This update clearly stated no short-term revenue is expected, so it’s not ramping it’s actually very transparent.

And let’s be honest, if the company went quiet until cash hit the books, you’d be shouting “radio silence” and “no progress”. Damned if they do, damned if they don’t. At least here shareholders can see management actively building routes to future income. The whole point of an RNS is to keep the market informed of material developments. This is exactly that.

Give it time, they've only just started trading again and they're already announcing monster partnerships like Relx. If the company they announced today actually develops a completely new technology in this space it could be massively disruptive and Chill will be on the ground floor able to take the opportunity and run with it. This company is lucky to still exist after everything that happened to it and somehow its come out fighting.

Page 16 of their latest annual report, just found it. They wrote the seeds off as they hadn't passed European testing and would be costly to go through more cycles plus the market for CBD had dropped heavily. It's all in the distant past really, irrelevant to the company as it exists today. Different business, different management team.

Holdon, they left all of that behind long ago as it didn't work. The company has been reinvented as a distribution agency. Did well out of their own vapes and now selling for other big brands.

My view from the latest announcements and narrative in all their accounts is that their main focus is retail distribution right now through their new division. That could go very well for them indeed if they can break through. Chill used to work with Phoenix 2 Retail who from a quick Google search sell over £100m of products every year in vaping.

Buried Treasure their latest reports and RNSs explain that they now distribute the products of other brands rather than their own. They're a sales service for hire for FMCG brands. Whether their clients succeed is another question.

This isn't a normal situation though is it. The share has been suspended for such a long time and because of the serious problems that went ahead last year, it's bound to be an abnormal one. Up to the FCA now but the company has released three sets of accounts on the trot and extended its year end so its compliant.

Bermondsey they have been published. They were in an RNS on 11th July. The return to trading is now up to the FCA not the company filing anything.
