Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Let's see if the RNS fairies bring us anything good in the coming week. I agree with the statement above (from Buffet) that the markets are a device for transfering money from the impatient to the patient. This is why the advice from everyone from Kramer to Alexander Elder and back again is not to look at your P&L. This is a good trade for those of us who are long at this point. Keep waiting and be the clever cat......
somebody wake up schalf!! :)

I was reading this little item this morning - API takes <3momths to <12 months. Here's hoping they didn't make any goofs in the application process.
just joined the club @5.38 ..only £500 so far, but I don't need to release this for a LLOOOOOONG time, so can watch this climb while I sit back and wait for Summer
GLA
@Schalf - you would love this series of podcasts https://open.spotify.com/show/2gndNHr2uJU47kjhW8J807
Really gives a great insight in to how MMs operate.
Put in a £500 pilot this morning. Watching WCAT like an eagle.
@shalf re:
"You making a character assassination on a public forum, I will allow you to make retraction of your comments......up to you ?"
Sorry if my comment came across as insulting. I mean you no harm. I intend for all of us to do well out of being in this during the early stages.
As I said yesterday, there are only two prices that matter and those are the one you buy at and the one you sell at. I don't mind what happens in between - I stand by what I said, if it dips to 0.9p for 30 mins later today (when I am planning on washing my car) but bounces back when I am done, it makes zero difference to me. :)
Friends again?
@ff - I have holdings for my mother in law, father, joint a/c with my wife my own trading account and my brother also got in on when I showed him what I was seeing...all of which are currently in the red, I am happy for it to drop down, briefly to 0.9p somewhere between 1400 and 1430 this afternoon so that schalf can top up...but then I want to see it jump :)
@ladydec - you are right - there are only two prices which matter - the one you buy at and the one you sell at. Where it goes in between and after you sell doesn't figure
@R79 - hoping that the turnaround/news will more than make up for a short string of frustrating days ...whenever it comes
I know it is wrong to compare it with Argo. But I am consoling myself with the fact ARB went to 145 on 8th Jan and on 22 Jan it dipped to 60 before making it's stratospheric leap.
I am new(ish) to smaller cap stocks ...which are waaay more exciting than FTSE250s!! Is it typical that the trades are a bit more choppy on showing in something like LSE? I see FTSE 100s flood through in pretty much time order
I use Barclays for trading (historical reasons, banked with them since 1998) but my wife has HL which while more expensive have better functionality on their website.
agreed - the website is well underused and not very inspiring. It makes me think that they are trying to keep things secret while they get in on the game.
it has gone a little over 50p in a burst of positivity. Hope this upward move is sustainble.
a good bit of Keynesian/FDR 'New Deal' recovery - without it there would be no Hoover Dam.
hang in there - the PMI data out today exceeded expectations

@costainonly - a new finance chief could be just the ticket - depending on who that is of course. They operate on very thin margins https://www.fool.co.uk/investing/2020/09/15/the-costain-share-price-has-crashed-is-it-now-time-to-buy/ so the slightest miscalculation or forecast and you end up doing construction work on a charity basis. I am keen on Dr Golby as COTB https://www.costain.com/investors/management/ I know he has been in the chair since 2016, but he has good credentials. CEO Vaughn has been there since May 2019 and despite a big drop just after he came in, he is probably shaking the tree a bit and hopefully Q1 2021 would see a combination of his changes and general 'getting back on track' in the sector give some uplift.

Not sure if this is behind the rise.
I am hoping the same - I bought at the start of Sept for 42.25 and saw it hit near 50. Time for an upswing ..please.
