Looking at the 1day chart, this news and yesterdays RNS has hardly made a dent in the upward trajectory of the sp. It hasn't even broken out of the channel slightly. Appointment of new CEO will be received as good news and I expect buyers to move in and buy up the panic sellers.

Looks like the news has mostly been shrugged off by the market in early trade. Obviously a few sellers / profit takers. Seems BTC price will have a bigger influence on this sp.

The suit accuses the defendants of failing to disclose to investors that 'significant capital restraints' and other adverse factors limit Argo's ability to mine Bitcoin and preserve sustainability. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 1:23-cv-00572, Murphy v. Argo Blockchain plc et al.

Once all the market fall out from the corporate action is done, this stands to get back to growth in sp. The sector is heating up and the news about a digital pound is going to increase interest as consumers become more familiar and open to the tech.

The rate of news output appears to be gathering pace and everything is lining up well.
