The most important factor to come out of the RNS is that it secures the future of ironveld which before the announcement looked shakey .I really do think that we shall be able ,to use Peter Coxs words , start rocking and rolling in the early part of the new year. One look at its neighbour, Bushveld,which had a placing at around 2p earlier in the year are now in the 8-9p area.

The man not mentioned much is the non exec finance director Jeremy Sparrow. Jeremy has experience in fund raising to the tune of 23 billion dollars and recently raised 1.5 billion dollars in six months for a new project as head of Investec Resource Investment Banking in Asiia and Australia . With a man of this Calibre to finance and Giles Clarke to find the company ,it's hard to see this going wrong. For myself I don't see this going till Jan 21 2018 but obviously with any acquistion will come the new CEO and company name.change.

feeling optimistic about events here ? Peter Cox has missed many deadlines over the last few years BUT his last few updates do seem really achievable. To keep this simple, he has confirmed that the finance for the 15mw boiler was sanctioned by the financiers IDC, so the 7.5 mw boiler renovation and purchase must be considerably cheaper and just a formality. The timescale to production looks a little ambitious but with everything else sorted ,we might well be seeing a flip in the share price come early autumn. Anyone else got a view on this.

As we enter the I cloud on Friday,it might be worth reflecting on the Assocham-Techsci research report which predicts growth in the Indian consumer goods from 49 billion dollars to 104 billion in 2020.100 per cent growth in 3.5 years. Should Giles go ahead with a deal here ,then there is only one way this is going !

Saintpeter7. Why would G.C not manage something decent ? All his companies to date are potential multi baggers,why not this one ! As I have said before, I am very pleased he seems to have left Africa's mining behind him.Mining is far too slow and uncertain. If indeed it is India and retail/wholesale he will be back in his comfort zone.G.C will not waste time on marginal businesses. Having a five year timescale similar to his other retail businesses and a 20 percent plus return ,this has to fit in better for this 63 year old entrepreneur.

As far as an announcement is concerned,this could go either way.I recognise that this is India and not Africa so maybe announcement before 14 day suspension. What really interests me here is Giles Clarkes change of direction from mining to retail. The South African experience with Ironveld must have weighed heavy with him as it has done with me. The possible Indian acquisition with the hint of a new CEO being appointed bodes well,after all this is his comfort zone. The new acquisition is in a much more business friendly environment with a very impressive future growth rate.The last point is the lead time to production which pails into insignificance beside mining.My only slight reservation is the dilution here!

Hi Annie. Thanks for the info,it seems we have been treading the same path. Having bought Majestic Wine I too went on to buy Amerisur ,then called Chaco Investment. I too saw it rocket but didn't sell. Thought South Africa then was more pro business . While on it seems Kennedy Ventures about retâte with excellent RNS. Do you agree with me that Kennedys success could be the catalyst for confidence in Giles Clarke's other companies. Just a thought.

Hi Annie ,very good questions you've raised. My only comment here is that Kennedy Ventures had the same placing at I think 2p and then rocketed to 13p! Both companies huge potential but nothing solid to support it. I have stuck with this company for some 4 years now and would without doubt sold much earlier had it not been for Giles Clarke. I am sure he will take us to the promised land not least because of his reputation. my own view here is that the deal will be concluded . I hope I'm right!

As I have said before I have been in Giles Clarke companies since the early days of majestic wine ,Pet City,and Safestore. Every company of his has been a multi bagging concern with no failures. Giles Clarke may not have a large holding here but he has a reputation to uphold,he certainly won't waste time on non descript low returning ventures.With Rupert Frazer from Ironveld , I see him developing a business on the same lines,it always is .He has about six months to pull a rabbit out of the hat and I would almost certainly think he will have several business ideas to look at in view of the time scale. One things for sure , this is not for widows and orphans but that could apply to the whole AIM market.

No . That makes three of us as I posted yesterday there's everything to play for here and the reason is simple Giles Clarke's track record ! This won't be quick but certainly faster than an African mining company. The silly season or sell in may and go away adage is not helping here. As I posted yesterday, patience is needed here and that seems to be in serious short supply on this board !

Headless chickens this way , follow the herd. !!! Indian market looks potentially very good in an area Giles Clarke knows very well. I can see him building up a large multi bagging business ,if successfully found,in a very short space of time. Safe Store, Pet City and latterly Majestic Wine all made shed loads for Giles and his investors. Investors should remember patience is essential here. As for traders that's a different matter.

If you are so certain that this stock is going to hell in a hand cart then you must be privy to insider dealing.knowledge.the rest is hearsay and wild speculation. For heavens sake give us a brake and latch onto another company you do have faith in.

Not long now! Giles Clarke is not a walker away from projects. In his long career he is a winner and there aren't many entrepreneurs like him around. As I have posted before, it's the management at SMA that's so important!

I can only say that there is a very thin dividing line regarding what can be construed as insider information.this is particularly applicable to this company. Interestingly,the accounts for SMA are due around th 23rd. A possible update could be announced then. With regard to your sale,if you don't feel happy with the investment always sell.

I haven't read anything suggesting three month extension from Sarkozy,only that the shell will go to hell in a hand cart. I have always had two adages when assessing companies.Firstly,the quality of the management and secondly the managements track record. Giles Clarke companies always follow the same winning formula. I have no doubt we will have the same result here!
