The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
Hi C1.......Good update last post but one .. ..what I don't get is the reason for your comments on Barkby RNS s .....,Can you expand ?
November 30 not long away now...In my opinion we would have heard last week if there was to be another delay...As both sides have committed so much especially IIG ,for me it rules out both sides walking away from the deal not least because of the very large penalty here. No, we must be very close now and news either way must be imminent.......we shall see...........
C1.........This has to be a very smart move to get an extra 3 months on the accounts which if I am reading this right is another 3 months sales of sleep hub which if as I suspect the sales to be good should give a valuable shot in the arm.....what sayest thou.........
Poppyseed.........To think that DBM will only be producing wages is laughable if it wasn't a serious viewpoint, it is also insulting to Larry Johnsons intelligence that he would waste time on so-called trivia like this. I dont normally respond to statements like this................
Ismalia
Yes you are right for AGM with three weeks officially for notice period.
This would leave tomorrow or Monday to conform with this requirement.........
It now has to be next week for an announcement here.......Friday is out,too little time before weekend. We are left with Monday or Tuesday next week in order to comply with the two week required for AGM. ... As I have said before I expect this to go to the wire................
Yes point taken but Martin Eales got the company into production. What has happened since post his watch is correct..........
Those with long memories will recall how Martin Eales put together the deal that secured Rare Earth Minerals future, he will do the same here. If the process needed more time then we would have heard yesterday or today. This is not the case. I have said recently that I expect this to go to the wire and I believe a game changing announcement is imminent..........We’re see !!
C1 spot on once again....... so good to see someone else other than me with absolute faith in company. The last three to four years I have been writing here alone with all the naysayers now long since gone ,fighting GCs corner seems over now.............one caviat not sure on effect of further lockdown for purchasing.......
At this stage its probably worth reminding ourselves of the declared aim of Larry Johnson who with the company name change announced his intention to take the company global. This was referred to in his last update to acquire companies with products with short lead times, sound highly trained staff and probably most importantly buying those companies at the bottom of the cycle which happens to be now. I don't see it being long before another acquisition is acquired................
C1 yes , your views and mine just about identical........view sleephub exactly as you do . Going to be a big earner. Vivoplex whilst having certainly as much potential as sleephub possibly more as a massive problem for women is 41% owned by the Dicksons. Any thoughts on what might happen here to the potential as well as shareholders holdings in the future.......?.....
Mr C I know I too have written about other companies whilst posting here but they have the connection of GC..no what intrigues me with you is your frustration at the pace of Kazera . As I have said many times before whats been achieved in little over three and half years from near nothing is amazing. DDs recent post underlines this.....I know of no mining company that has mushroomed from nothing especially in the middle of a major pandemic any quicker ,do you? Thats mining..........
DD you are absolutely right about the two other delays as you say they were well in advance of deadline. Three delays wouldn't look too good but obviously still possible. For I always felt this would go to the wire with first week in November looking most likely. No CEO will bring out an RNS in the middle of a market rout.....Again repeating what I have always said there is no chance of no deal here...far too much commitment from both sides, financial and otherwise.................
Seconded...........
I never have and never will try to predict prices and courses for shares other than in general terms and to say that on any major RNS announcement the size of the herd is all that matters. The size of the herd is determined by the state of the market and the size of the issued share capital.............
This is why its not possible to predict where this share price will be post deal ! Totally unpredictable.......................
Hi Cawdor..
Totally agree company off the radar and like others suffering from the COVID-19 issue.
Yes your right ,don’t normally missprint over info. Vivoplex is indeed 40% owned by family. Where I disagree is with your assessment of the commercial business. I see this as the major plank for the immediate future and expect to see revenue from this dwarf the rest. Final thought I see the sleep hub with the ability to disrupt the market a formidable product which will show through in 21. The licence is granted for all the major world markets , a big returner here............
Ismalia......don't underestimate Charles Dickson!! He is a man of exceptional ability, just read his track record , nothing short of outstanding and you know the importance I place on management. The other point I would raise is the commercial property side which dwarfs all the rest and remains robust.
On a different tack,I visited the five Alls in Oxfordshire, found the situation magical, the food and service good cheap and quick. However, reception on arrival poor, waitresses looked surly but to balance ,the manageress was excellent. Maybe the effect of covid.................
