What happens to HARL if Kevan Jones, and his Labour oaks, already have plans on destroying us in order that the assets can be transferred to a company which they have "closer" economic ties?

That said, this morning's RNSs are better news than I was expecting. And who knows, Sir John might have purposely got our shares suspended in order to hammer the Tories just before the election for not having approved financing during its tenour!

Hi Bubble. I'm all for working people to receive proper wages for performing "real" work.

I have no idea why the company would agree to a large pay rise if it had no intention of paying anyone's wages in the near future.

All I know that the situation we find ourselves in is definitely stressful and likely avoidable.

My concern is that we might have been deliberately steered into shallow seas in order to smash the company on the rocks.

My favourite CEO, by a country mile, used to be Gerry Brandon of Deep Verge. He used to regularly post on the message board, and even once posted an apology for something bad, but not catastrophic that happened under his leadership.

I like John - Sir John - Wood. So, I hope he also doesn't let the side down!

I post lots of rubbish, but my comments about DVRG and KAT were made as a warning that it might have been a good idea to jump ship with likely losses.

Obviously, I wasn't expecting anyone to take a blind bit of notice of me. But I've lost a lot of money in DVRG, KAT, and double that in CFDs, so when it comes to losing money I actually comment from experience.

As I like to joke with one of my friends - Judge me on my wins because they are so few!

Ust to clarify. I'm not suggesting HARL employees won't go to work. I'm suggesting that they will be in fear of their jobs.

They just secured a mega, potentially company busting pay rise, with the assistance of Kevan Jones' old Union.

That might make some people suspicious, but not me!

Might Suppliers of goods/services now be very very wary of doing business with Harland and Wolff?

As for employees - might they be worried that next month's pay check might not hit their bank accounts?

Suspended share trading isn't the same as suspended trading, but IMO it doesn't bolster confidence. Especially when HARL has well over a thousand families to feed!

Aren't the Tories, Labour, Lib Dems, Greens, SNP, the same political Party?

Might companies cease to do business with HARL from Monday?

As for awarding us new contracts - Why take the risk?

Suspension of shares ain't a good look for small companies being slated by journalists in the broadsheets?

Hi Stokey. You are very smart man who has done many LTHs several super turns, but my concern is that we'll discover that the Auditor hasn't approved the accounts. Should that happen, we'd,meaning PIs potentially be on our way to oblivion.

How much work would you have done today, if you worked for HARL?

Can't imagine much work has been done today, at any HARL site, as the entire workforce has been waiting to see if their company's shares are to be suspended from trading!

Who could blame them, if they were more than a little distracted!!

Scaffman. My split personality is being dictated by the Do or Die approach to business that we're witnessing from Sir John and Arun.

Arun can look forward to be referred to as Sir Arun - when/if he delivers the goods!

Hebredian9. Provided that Sir John doesn't go all Gerry Brandon over us, we don't need the £200m deal. Its a good to have and gets the share price rising faster. But it's not a necessary condition for growth and profitability.

I don't much care if the Company Report doesn't meet expectations, I just want it approved and published.

Nothing much else matters in the near term!!!

ILS. Sorry, but I'm not understanding how a Fundraise helps the company in any way?!?

Either our pipeline of projects is already profitable, and therefore sustainable, or we bust.

I still haven't ruled out HARL not having it's Accounts approved, and therefore having it's shares suspended from from trading long enough for the company to be transferred into another entity, for circa £1, circa Gerry Brandon of DVRG. But I'm hoping that John Wood goes onto beyond Sir John Wood, making us a good few quid in the process!

Hebredian9. UKEF aren't a charity, it is an arm of the UK Government. If they had concerns, they should/would have made them clear a year ago. Unless, UK Governments are now in the business of not "hurting feelings"!
