GGP have stalled digging their mine because the lowest confined aquifer requires additional evaporation ponds. Planning permission is being sought from the relevant authorities. Once received, drilling can recommence and the GGP share price might well start shooting to the stars!

But, just like UFO, if you aren't producing, you aren't earning.

Oh, and I forgot to add. My own father was injured in an IRA bomb attack in London -flying glass was embedded in the back of his leg. And when I was about 12, five boys from my form took the day off to go to the funeral of a boy in their neighbourhood, who been blown to pieces by an IRA bomb- again in London. My own home was shaken by a small bomb left in a street in Victoria Street.

So, maybe, just maybe, I know what I'm talking about!!!

Broomtree. Yesterday afternoon I met a friend of mine who just happened to have visited the Emerald Isle last week.

My comments are a result of his description of conversations he overheard on his travels, added together with the "Reservoir Dogs" type punishments I've heard are supposedly being meted out be "local defence forces".

You, and others, might take exception to what I've written, but I viewed the scenario being played out in front of me, as the only likely means of the Labour government backing HARL and me not losing my money!

Starmer appears to read a prepared script, written by faceless others. IMO either Starmer cares precious little about the lives of people he's supposedly devoted to serving or he doesn't understand what he's dealing with.

I'll make this my last comment on "The Troubles". But I made them for a reason. Ireland isn't mainland Britain. The country (North and South) is, as I understand it, at boiling point.

That said. I still stand by my comment that a return to "The Troubles" will be good for HARL, should anything substantial happen before they place us into Administration! Although, much of the ill will is likely to be directed Europe's way!!!

How can "last years" accounts flag HARL as bankrupt?

I can understand that they might show that we can't afford to pay 14% per annum interest, but wasn't that the point of the government guarantee?

Might the accounts prove that Reeves and Starmer have deliberately screwed over HARL in favour of a FRENCH Shipbuilding firm?

CaptainSwag appears to be a fan of Reeves and Starmer - even though they've likely killed the company!

One thing that we should all take in considering is that the govt wants to ditch the Navy on the grounds that ships can't be defended from drones and hypersonic missiles. Any change in govt policy has likely only been made on the last 12 months or so. That said, without a Navy the Falklands will be Argentinian in a flash!

Bubble. I make right. They very likely wanted to save us and made a point of RNSing the extended loan facility prior to Falklands' final decision.

Unfortunately, UK govt, i.e Labour Party likely killed the deal and left them with nowhere to go.

Conseula. I'm afraid that I know as an absolute fact that the Men of Violence are very much present south of the border. No need for me to explain why!

I don't have any mental health issues. I'm afraid I comment on what I I watch, see, and hear.

Just to clarify, in case someone misunderstands my last comment:

1. I am not calling/encouraging anyone to go around planting bombs. It's just a prediction of a possibility, given the current climate, on my part.

2. When I said that a bomb going off on the island of Ireland, would be good for Harland and Wolff. What I meant was that, such an incident would likely result in Reeves/Starmer falling all over themselves to be seen as pro jobs, etc, and likely see them suddenly agree to guarantee HARL's fast increasing business loan.

Conseula. Everything changes should the unthinkable happen on the island of Ireland and a "real" bomb go off. Might there be one within the next few weeks/months? Who knows ? Probably not

That said, Harland and Wolff would benefit greatly IMO should one explode within the next two to three weeks. After that it will likely be too late as Administration will probably have been formally declared.

My understanding is that Men of Extreme Violence are "policing" communities south of the "Old" border. They aren't likely concerned with joblessness in Belfast, but maybe their counterparts north of the border are?

We live in the most interesting of times.

People are likely planning on "stealing" HARL PI's money - might they soon regret it? Once the genie is out of the bottle, the "elite" will have one Hell of a time putting back!

Might the existing Apprentices be cheap labour. Whereas, new additions will actually expect training, and future prospects. Might it just be better to. send them Deliveroo and Amazon Warehouses way as per the Labour/Tory "WokeMakeFree" unskilled labour model?

Ministerial concern is all for show. These people could have done many things the assist Harland and Wolff, but Chose to sink it, along with 1,500 jobs.

The "Deplorables" are less than happy and are minded to do something about it.

Let's hope that they stick to peaceful protest, but there are rumours, especially front Ireland, that people are looking back, with longing, to the "good old days"!
