drango. i happen to be very pro saudi arabia.

the reason?

my brother, now deceased, who had uncontrollable epilepsy and learning disabilities, worked his whole life for the saudi press agency, in london, as a messenger. he worked for the saudi's until he died, aged 56. no other organisation on god's earth would have employed him for so long.

he had an epileptic friend who worked for the uk civil service - they tried to sack him after a few years, and the stress likely killed him!

so, i'm far from anti-arab, but i can see why us christians are never going to be able to integrate with them.

my primary concern is getting my money back. and i genuinely believe that massive social unrest on the emerald isle is going to do the trick for me!

i'm no ****** - i'm just a very practical man!

Having watched it, IMO HARL could easily build Titanic 2.0. However, it would be built with the most modern of Fully Electric engines. Just imagine if Elon Musk was the UK's Secretary of Trade - HARL could make the most futuristic fleet of Cruise Liners the world has ever seen!

Juyamah. Clive Palmer has gone public that he wants to help Harland and Wolff, and has been ignored for his trouble. I bet there aren't many Billionaires who are refused the time of day!

Might we take from Mr. Palmer's most public of actions that he would very much like Harland and Wolff to build Titanic 2.0, and is making his approach now, because he knows that Harl have finally started to acquire the technology and skills to make his dream come true?

I'm believe that you are an Accountant by trade, and we all know that that it was you who regularly took the trouble to telephone the Court Listings section in order to keep tabs on the Islandmagee Salt Cavern hearings. You, along with many others on this message board have, and continue, to provide the rest of us with a stream of Facts/knowledge. For that I'd like to thank you!

It's likely going to take a miracle to have HARL, and our investments. But who knows, we might get lucky!

Harland and Wolff was sacrificed because John Wood dared to put the profits of the FRENCH shipbuilder (Piriou) and VIETNAMESE jobs at risk.

There's no way that Sunak, Hunt, Reeves, Reynolds, and Starmer would have stood for that.

If JW is at fault. It's for not appreciating that our current political class appear to place the EU, and One World Government, over the welfare of the Good People of the United Kingdom!

I've previously lost a lot of money on Deep Verge and Katoro Gold. I put both down to experience the CEOs were very likely dodgy characters. My problem here is that Harland and Wolff has very likely been knobbled by the British Government.- Disgusting!!!

That's why I won't let this one go.

That said, I have a few irons in the fire. If half of them come off I'll forget about the money I've lost here.

The difference is that Harland and Wolff are national newsworthy, have a billionaire interested in trying to bail the company out, and might well be the spark of public unrest that goes on for decades!!!
