as regards my financial loss, it's been a long while since 19th july, so i'm busy with over investments. the world continues turning - either you move or stagnate!

investments aside, it's now obvious what bab**** international are going to take over belfast and appledore - in the short-term. the company has been mentioned as a possible "white knight" in a sunday times article.

might our whiter-than-white media be making the news rather than reporting upon it?

i still see belfast apartments for illegal migrants on the distant horizon - but nobody is going to try going there until next year!

Would I really invest hundreds of hours of effort into starting a rival ferry business, when I could sit on my backside in all manner of expensive restaurants as I wait circa 12 months for cash to start flooding in, following first cut of Steel for the FSS contract?

Hi Bubble, Unfortunately, I can't imagine this will go anywhere. We need a copy of official meeting minutes. I don't think # 10 are into minuting their meetings with external agencies.

It appears a that JW has "bet the house" on a "handshake" with a snake.

Conveniently, the likely amount of money that would have seen the. Company through to March 2025 and the cutting of first steel for the FSS contract.

Likely with a lucrative Falklands Floating Dock contract picking up any slack in productive capacity.

Us LTHs have been really, really, "unlucky" with the non-guaranteeing of a business loan, by two successive, "trustworthy" governments!

And please don't forget that it was journalist at the Belfast Telegraph who appeared to moot the idea of turning the Harl's docks into Apartment Blocks. Conseula. I have two regrets:

1) That I didn't cut my loses a few days before the company missed the accounts submission deadline. It was obvious to me that we were going to have a Deep Verge done to us!

2) That the country I'm supposed to support against Russia, China, Iran, North Korea , and possibly India in World War III appears to be filled to the brim with Progressive Liberals crooks!!

Today we heard that decisions were taken with all "stakeholders" in mind. And there I was incorrectly thinking that companies are entities whose sole aim is to create/protect shareholder value whist not breaking the law or harming people!

Mine was the first question of the day. It wasn't answered.

Shareholders screwed over without any justification as to why nobody entertained a Titanic obsessed billionaire who, one must assume, genuinely wanted to save this iconic British business!

The United Kingdom has sunk to a new low.
