Vulture Funds do exist that buy distressed businesses and sell them in parcels to make a killing. That said no I do not think that is Sidara's game plan.

Will the various sides agree a deal? Not sure, depends on the offer and what the large institutional shareholders think?

A good post imo. Ignore the personal stuff and focus on his trading advice. What's the current NAV? Will WG go bust or survive? Where will the sp be in 5 yrs time?

Given the state of the UK economy, the socialist gov, the Net Zero lunacy I see WG as a trading opportunity not a LTH.

Personally I initially bought a large stake hoping for a quick bid and big profits.

After a week I became concerned about the probs of a no agreement so halved my stake. Would be thrilled and make a good profit from 70p never mind 100p plus.

All correct but at our cost through sp dilution.

We need a change of Gov Policy and Board.

The latter via a takeover perhaps?

No deal remains a probability!

Admittedly a fairly low probability but the 24 March approaches and I have reduced my stake as a precaution.

Brian has done this to many others inc me.

I took profits as I wanted to reduce my stake which was starting to look a bit bold (25% of portfolio) and to lock in some profit.

Like others I think there is around a 30% chance of no deal after which the sp will drop and yo yo for months which is not a ride I am looking forward too.

Given the way the US stock market is going I had hoped for better here.

If Rick Rule was buying I would feel more confident! Until there is a change of management I fear he will avoid OMI.

A bit more encouraging news confirming the science. Unfortunately the management are either willfully incompetent or always intended to screw over small investors. Hence I am going to pass on buying back in.
