Seven mins to go and think I will sit on my hands. Not inclined to buy any big drops as too risky imo. I now think a bid more likely bit a low one which some institutional investors might take having read the report. Six mins.....

A fair point, I bought back in this morning with HL. 30,000 shares, no quote available so used a fill or kill to close the deal. This is a punt, I have no idea if orders or news are on the way, DYOR.

Effectively this end of the week for a business based in the Gulf so either a deal is announced now or an announcement is made next week.

The probability is simple enough an agreed deal or no deal. But might the agreed deal be something other than pure cash?

The market either appears indifferent or the news was already baked into the sp.

I bought some more for 6.8p with HL.

Further positive news on the peanut allergy trials.

I would like to read an RNS confirming an order or positive trading update to justify the sp movement.

A good question, the answer likely in a few more working days. My personal view is that no deal will be agreed but to cover the odds I bought back a modest stake (1/3 of original stake).

I chickened out and sold the rest of my stake 48 hrs ago for a modest profit made over the past few weeks.

But come Monday WG might announce a deal and I will have to live with the derision from a few here and the loss of bonus profits.

There is no right or wrong answer here imo. It just depends on your risk appetite and the time you are able to tie money up for.

Looking forward to next week, might even buy back in if the announcement seems to make WG a long term hold.

I would expect news today but at what time?

A deal and a price?

An extension?

A failure to agree?
