I could not end my remarks without mentioning a major current concern of the populations, namely the untimely cuts of electricity which have become the daily life of our compatriots, and the deprivation of electric energy for days or even weeks, in many cities. and localities of our country. I call on Eneo and Sonatrel, so that the most rapid and definitive solutions are found, and I invite the government to take its responsibilities on the issue. Power cuts must be an exception and not become the rule, ?”said the president of the lower chamber of the Cameroonian parliament.
Indeed, since the start of 2021, Cameroon has returned to power cuts. This, support operators of the electricity sector, due to repeated collapses of the transmission network, the multiplication of incidents on the distribution network, work to strengthen or rehabilitate the distribution network, or even poor hydrology, especially in the northern regions of the country.
