Well said, MD.
Not the first time GB has let everyone know he got out early.
Even apologised last time so it's odd to mention it yet again.
Sorry to everyone who lost.
Except Tyndrumboy1872.
He should be in front of a judge.
Unless he or his family filled their boots after his downgrade.
Good to see the sp making a recovery after that ridiculous downgrade a month ago.
"Is she talking about the Spanish unit or the whole group? Is this comment a hint for Nov results?"
She's clearly referring to Spain for only. Read it context, i.e. as a follow up comment to the previous sentence in the rns.
Looks like a justification for the sale.
Reduce the debt pile hopefully.
"He should be speaking to the police, not a TV camera, after all he's done to this country"
Dry your eyes Mick b.
Did Blair and the other criminals ever get spoken to by the police for their real (not imagined) crimes?
"And now another Tory MP is reported to have been arrested during a rape and drugs investigation."
GB, innocent until proven guilty.
Unless you're saying wee Eck is guilty of everything she's been questioned about under caution?
A901 is a typical remainer when it comes to UK economic news.
Bad news is automatically linked to Brexit, good news is justified away by any means possible.
A sorry way to live a life !
Robleo,
Well lloy has its moments but there's far more normal discussion.
Vod just seems to be trolls on either side of the debate "trolling" eachother.
If we get some news or a few rns's perhaps that will focus minds but it seems whatever the price, the trolls are in control.
"It's been very quiet here lately, I wonder what's driven all the posters away from this board
Would be interesting to know the reasons for it"
Surely you're taking the mick?
This board has been an embarrassment with its kindergarten bickering, insults, childish tantrums etc.
Why would mature, serious investors come here if all they get is that !
I still pop in occasionally just to see if there's any actual discussion on the stock but I'm sorely disappointed every time.
I pick the side that doesn't cut the heads off babies.
"Well basically the m u s l I m s has been on that land for 1400 years and 2 billion of em all wants it back but can't because I s r a e l controls America incredibly as that sounds."
And who was on the land 1401 years ago?
Don't pick an arbitrary moment in time to support your assertions.
This has been going on for millennia, and will continue for more millennia.
And yet when the pandemic and Putin's war ( both global events), are cited as reasons for our current challenges, you socialists scream and howl with derision !!
Hypocrites !!
I'm almost resigned to a labour win so I'm just going to sit back and watch it all unfold.
The people who vote labour, particularly first time voters, will realise that older, wiser people, who have lived through labour horrors, know of what we speak !
Reap what you sow, and don't complain !
"Are looking for a “quick answer” today after the London Stock Exchange was hit by a technical incident which halted trading in hundreds of smaller stocks on Thursday."
That'll be why I couldn't top up on Lloyds.
If you want to see grim, actually visit Germany.
I travelled via train across the whole of Germany last week from Switzerland to Brussels.
Town after town and city after city of grim, run down, slum ridden dumps.
It was shocking.
Sure there's an east and a West of the rail line but why would the towns there be any different.
Germany is a grim, depressing country and I'm thankful daily that I live in the UK.
It will be a disaster in every other respect though.
Possible special div at full year results.
Hopefully a real one this time.
Mind you, closer to a ge, maybe they'll use the money to cut prices too.
