The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
Well put, Gunsup.
I wouldn't trust the CBI if they predicted that day follows night.
Same for that b e llend Bailey at the BoE.
I'm starting to get a little concerned that my entire investment in vod is at risk.
But will I sell? Of course not, I'll just sit and watch it go down and down !!
Excuse me livestock, how dare you post something about Lloyds !
............. I'll get my coat.....
"ps Labour increases lead by FOUR points"
Mick b, you tool !
What's the point of quoting individual polls?
I quoted the 'poll of polls', and the gap has closed to 17 points.
Tell me you're a thick socialist without telling me you're a thick socialist! (The word 'thick' is entirely redundant of course).
..over the Tories has shrunk to 17 points.
Mick b and numbnuts starting to panic.
And yes, this is wholly relevant to Lloyds share price.
Hopefully a significant movement past 46p today.
Daniel talking to himself again.
Christmas trading update could potentially send the SP higher.
Banking arm being sold, probably.
2024 could be a corker.
Dry your eyes Grayling.
Whiner.
Live life to the full, you only get one, stop b i t ching and grow up.
Dow futures looking positive, we might hit 46p today. If we do I'm sure it'll be brief as the autotrades spring in to action.
JCB, you appear to be in a barrell, at the bottom, scraping furiously.
Keep it up, I'm sure you can find some other minor, inconsequential data to support your narrative.
I've just that article and it's the most balanced, sensible commentary on Brexit I've seen.
I had to check it was in the Guardian.
I do hope it is widely read and shared.
"I get my news from Channel 4".
Even bloody worse than BBC.
John Snow famously saying "I've never seen so many white people in the same place" at the Brexit celebrations.
Woke, remainer and biased

As I posted a week or so ago, great news for the UK economy, great news for Lloyds.
(Bad news for Mick b and numbnuts though).
Gate,
Good link, thanks.
It's a fairly generic downside that was described, I'm not convinced lloy would be harmed in that way.
There's a lot of profit and this previously was written down money, it's very much like a bonus.
If 500 mill was distributed as a special I doubt it would have a full on negative effect as described.
I'm clearly no expert though.
"All your special dividend will do is reduce the share price by the value of the special dividend . Do you not understand that for Gods sake ? How many times do people have to tell you the same thing before it registers with you ??"
Gate,
Surely the SP will have risen by the size of the special so the reduction takes it back to where it was previously?
Numbnuts
18877 posts and counting.
I pity you.
As are your marbles, stp.
Can a year be described as being 'decisive' ?
