If you would like to ask our webinar guest speakers from Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund a question please submit them here.
I've belatedly realised you are trolling me Daniel.
So I'll take my own advice.
How do I feed the troll Daniel?
I never reply to him!
Sadly, that's your domain.
So many now feeding the troll.
He just sits back and chuckles.
IGNORE HIM !!

Stamp duty is a tax levied on purchase transactions – generally on documents - first introduced in 1694, during the reign of William and Mary, towards paying for on the war against France".
Originally it was a fixed amount, but in 1808 stamp duty on such things as transfers of land and shares, became a tax on the proportionate value of whatever was being transferred.
It certainly is moving.
Relieved that the rapid decline was halted and the price is rising again.

I wonder if Martin Lewis trades shares.
Or more to the point, shorts them.
I don't know if you youngsters remember the City Slickers from that filthy red rag, The Daily Mirror, but it's crossed my mind re ML.
Barclays surging, Lloyds down.
🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Sorry to hear that Brixton.
Diagnosing early is very positive, although your little granddaughter might not appreciate it just yet.
I was diagnosed with it at 45 following emergency surgery for perforated bowel.
Your gd will get the best care now and any future potential surgery will be fully planned. Big difference, believe me.
Having said that, with such an early diagnosis, she may never need an op at all.
All the best.
The worst thing you can do to a troll, is feed it.
Just stop.

"Far prefer to see Angela Rayner as PM."
Ah, yes, the biiitch who incited violence against Tories, and who now says she's scared of being an MP due to what people may do to her and her family.
What goes around comes around !!
STP is a socialist who lies, (sorry, I repeated myself) repeatedly about the Tory govt.
Facts will only confuse his addled brain.
Thanks Hounddog. 👍👍
Hounddog, thanks for the reply.

"Last year the Lloyds investor relations director clearly stated that ratio in one of ShareSoc’s webinars in response to a question from a shareholder. Can’t remember which webinar. Also that is actually what they have been doing.
It would be very embarrassing for them to cut the dividend and that would be a last resort. The buyback would be stopped first."
What I mean is, which comes first?
Does the interim drive the final, or does the final drive the next interim? (Albeit in the 'next' year).
If it's the former, then under this policy, there will never be any mystery about the final dividend. It will always be known as soon as the interim is announced.
That doesn't seem quite right when full year profit is as yet unknown. And I mean that in the positive sense, profit could be far higher than predicted.
Hounddog,
"The final dividend will be 1.84p - they are clear on the 1/3 to 2/3 interim to final ratio".
I've looked for confirmation of this ratio but can't find it. Can you post a link please when you get a mo.
There's another ratio re profit, 2/3rds reinvest, 1/3rd returns to investors that Lloyds have stated.
As we don't know the final year figures yet, how can you be certain on 1.84p as the final divi, based on the ratio you quoted?
I'm no expert so small words please.
Thanks
"Growing the economy by growing the population leaves no one better off."
Someone should have told Tony Blair and Gordon brown that, years ago.

"i wouldn't rule anything out.....it's not in the bag for Labour just yet, plus the UK had already put up with 5 Tory PM's. The country is as thick as ....."
Labour voters?
Apologies, ancestors.
I knew what I meant :)
