I've just walked in and seen CCL up 4%. Is there any news out that's caused it?

Big gains today? 5-10%?

CCL is up over 14% in the past month in the USA but flat here in London!!! How does that work?

US jobs figures better than expected so the markets don't like it because it affects the feds decision to slow down rate hikes.

Can anyone help me out please? I don't understand how dual listings work. They're stock in the same company but they're performing differently on the two exchanges. In the past 7 days CCL is up approx 5% in NY but flat here in London. Sorry if this is a stupid question but the past 24 hours has really confused me and I'd love to understand the reasoning behind it.

Just my opinion but I think it's still way undervalued. Business is booming it's a licence to print money for CCL. I've been on two cruises this year and the ships were both full. The cruise industry has always had very loyal customers that prefer cruise holidays but since Covid they've also attracted massive amounts of new customers that have now been bitten by the bug. I've got a friend at RC and he says bookings and occupancy levels are above pre Covid levels. The problem as everyone knows is the debt that was taken out because the ships couldn't sail during Covid. They're now sailing again. If business carries on as it is now then happy days they'll have no problems at all servicing the debt and the SP will continue to recover. If a recession hits hard and bookings dwindle then obviously CCL have a big problem.

Very worrying news tonight that two Russian missiles have landed in Poland and killed two. Invoking article 5 is extremely unlikely in my opinion but rather article 4 will be and military support for Ukraine will increase much much further.

Anyone know why the drop today?

Been pushing 700 for a while now. Do you think we can finish the day above 700 or will it push back again once NY opens?

I'm quietly confident we'll see a decent rise next week. Its being reported that Rishi isn't interested in a windfall tax and that interest rates will be hiked 75 points on Thursday. Wouldn't be surprised if Barc finished next week between 160-170.
