After todays dip I just couldn't help myself and I've bought back in! Like everyone else here that's gone long on CCL I think the results are going to be pretty good on Monday. After all, the Bank of America analyst met with Carnival bosses only a week ago and then upgraded the stock to $20. He must of really liked what he heard.

I'm out boys. I started day trading this share last year and did well for a few months . I then got caught out big time on a dip. I was underwater massively around March when we dropped to £6.30 and I loaded up to lower my average. I was so deep into CCL that if the worse had happened I'd have been in serious trouble. Anyway I've now made a large (for me) profit and the risk of it dipping and me losing that now was just too much for me. I've just seen so many dips with this stock I can't take the risk. I still think she'll reach £14 within the next few months and long term could see £20 but for me I'm out for the moment.

Anyone know why the sudden jump this morning? Is it just sentiment improving or has some news been announced? At the point now where I'm tempted to sell my holding and take the profit before it dips back to £8-£8.50.

Was thinking today about inclusion into the FTSE 100. I'm right in thinking pre Covid CCL was in? If so what would it take to be included again and if included wouldn't that attract more institutional investors (pensions etc) and therefore accelerate the SP?

Bot, any idea what date the next results our out? I'm in profit for the first time in months and like you I'm a bit apprehensive about trying to time the market. I'm terrified I'll miss the big push up to £15-£20 if I sell now and try and buy on the dip! What to do????

Don't sell them and you won't lose anything. All the cruise lines are down today. We'll come good just be patient.

A suite Ken, Cabin 15735. Thankfully our balcony is covered so if either myself or Mrs Fordy decide to get our kit off we should get away with it ha ha. Enjoy Britannia mate we sailed on her in her first season it's a great ship. Not sure what to make of Arvia yet with it being so big but we've cruised in Anthem and Indy from RC and we enjoyed that aswell.

Just done my bit to help the SP and booked a suite on Arvia for Summer 2025 lol.

On the plus side they have almost sold out of suites already (think they had 3 left after I booked) and balcony cabins look like around 50% allocated already. That doesn't even take into account passengers that have booked Saver fares because their cabins haven't been allocated yet. Looks like future bookings are very strong.

Aren't we owed about 7% since the close on Friday? £7.50 on the open tomorrow morning? Botbot you're the man with the figures.
