RE: Some good advice from Cube27 Apr 2023 08:34
I remember the names really well if I’m honest.
At a buy in of 30 odd pence seeing it rise to around £1.50p and they were about to flow test one could be forgiven that it will keep going. Sliced some at the price, sliced a little more as it went down to around a £. Had about half my holding left which was fairly significant. Read some advice and thought hmmm, perhaps I should take this public advice seriously. I did and sold out, todays price 18p.
The funny thing is the person that didn’t like the advice and was a little unpleasant in articulating their feelings had warned me before. The company was of course 88 and I saw my profits disappear. The certain poster felt the need to rub it in quite unnecessarily even after I had publicly admitted that they were right in this instance. They warned against 88 and promoted panr, I held both. I held 88, averaged down and waited for the next run. It came and I wasn’t greedy and walked away with a tidy sum, lesson learnt.
Shoe is rather on the other foot at the moment. Took some public advice from someone with far greater knowledge and walked away with not only my money but a tidy sum.
Gracious in victory and gracious in defeat is hard to live up to sometimes.
