This stock is more suitable for short than long. I figured it out last year. I am sure there are more shorters than investors on this board. Company associators are not that impressive.
Putin don't start the war for himself, no country leader in the world is acting on his own. What Trump has got to say for him? I am sure he is more intelligent than you, at least not writing like this. It is more likely someone will sell x factors to him than he sell his y factors. His famous picture is bare-chested on a horse. He will get what he deserves, time will tells.
Russia's invasion of UKraine helps the high crude oil price and being one of the beneficial, but the damage to the world is enormous. The Ukrainians are shouting at the Russian soldiers:' Get out of our home land.' We should help the Ukrainians while we can.
German's economics maybe hit because of the impact from Russia crude oil supply, but there are many other places increasing oil supply, and demand is supposed to be down. High oil price is not sustainable and will not last long.
Russia is highly unlikely to use any deadly weapons. If Putin wanted to use them, he had already done so. He don't need to use deadly weapons to achieve his targets, and he has no intension to occupy Ukraine. The war seems like two relatives fighting against each other. Putin is intelligent to stop the invasion when he come to a negotiated agreement with Ukraine.
As for oil stocks, their share prices do follow crude oil price roughly. Because hedge is in place, theoretically it only follows crude oil price at the unhedged percent. However, in the stock market, the volatility of share price is normally larger than crude oil price, except for the recent extreme volatility of crude oil price due to the unexpected regional war.
Tullow is the worst performance of the oil stocks I follow, the reasons have been mentioned before by various posters. X factors improve the share price, y factors depress the share price.
Thanks for reminding the effects of FTSE250 admission. I did come out too early, but didn't short this stock, stay put on another oil stock. What are the feeling of the three big hedge funds shorting this stock all the time? Are they fools or their IQ below 50? I don't think so.
What is wrong with the Kenya project? It must be a most important one as it has been mentioned many times in the RNS. It is a hot place, and I can image the crude oil extracted out of the ground must be hot as well.
I forgot someone's new wife is bossy. It is my fault for short memory as I am getting old. I will certainly not touch this share anymore, for my own sake. Bye, bye ,bye.
Don't really know the intention of yesterday's selling from a large holder. I suppose the said share holder has to look after other players in the circus.
I got in yesterday and today at 47p and 46p, would be out in a couple of days. This share is kind of difficulty when coming to sell even with a small amount.
It is obviously that 50p appears every now and then, it takes turn, and you all have to wait for it. It would be painful to wait if you had invested in this share.
Why there was a big sell yesterday? The seller did not make a good decision, or more likely intend to distract or help potential buyers to enter in a good low price.
Destitute RNS.
The more I read these boards, the more I will be confused. If you were a professional and well educated, your English writing skills should be OK.
It seems that there is a bottom feeder here, but there are still people in the world not selling X factors for financial incomes, unless you can not make money by a proper way.
I still keep enough cash, not losing a sheet at all, or investing in any oil stocks. Oil stocks are not a good long term investment now, only worth a small punt. Who are investing heavily at the peak time of oil price? Last year was a better time to enter oil stocks, which was the reason why I was here. Ronsock was questioning why I was here, which was insane.
I see some posters are bragging or pretend to love this stock to seek attention. I like Ammu who speaks what others don't want to say on this board. You must be an angel under great pressures. Take care.
Oil price is as mad as Putin. I got out at 52p months ago. This share is still 53p. It doesn't track index as well. It seems that it goes up and down depending on a rat's motive. Unbelievable.
Tare, tear, tea. Is Ronsock's first name is James? Are you going to come out again soon after I post?
