What’s Niger Insurance Plc about? I’ve had a brief google but can’t find anything substantial..

On IG trading it’s always relatively fair first thing provided nothing daft happened after hours.
I’m less concerned about my average, my initial buy in months ago was 410k at 0.36, then I added 1m at 0.22 to my ISA, today 510k at 0.24 to my ISA.
This is to the wider audience. To me this share price can dance up it down all it wants, if deals are delayed so be it. As long as everything is still on the table there’s still a lot to play for.

Good morning Shaa,
Just topped up 510k shares are 0.2419.
Best of luck all.

Thanks Bladderman, that’s a first!

If he isn’t distressed he’s done a good job of keeping his hands in his pockets. The deal as Art said was initially agreed in August, if the Atomic owner had the means / finance why haven’t they increased the gas injection when oil prices increased Nov / Dec?
Similarly if a new deal was being engineered with another party surely we would of heard by now. Then how long would that take to finalise?
The situation presented before us surely offers optimum gains for all. Atomic owner gets a fat slice of COPL, where with Barron flats, Nigeria and potential of acquisitions he could make a killing for little to no effort. We obviously get an inroad to being a credible producing company with future enhanced prospects instead of a spin machine.
Again I could be wrong, but I know what I’d do if someone offered me a free ride in COPL with no effort required. They take all the stress, debt etc off my hands, and I still am able to be part of the legacy I created and the oil market buzz.
Just my view.

I hear you CawCaw, I unlike you have only been around 6 months or so. I do still have slight reservations but the reward is too tempting.
I will be topping up tomorrow, it’s not the family savings but it’s a significant number to me I have in here now. Let’s hope all plays out as planned, if not I wouldn’t anticipate a massive dip on it falling through. We have maintained levels similar to this based on Nigeria alone.
Again I understand this could be wrong and I don’t profess to be correct.
Best of luck all and good health.

34quintadolago I think it’s time you had a little word with yourself again, or as I like to say “take your head for a wobble”.
I thought people who had the little rosettes next to their names were normally astute posters?
Seriously though, is everything ok? If you ever need to talk about anything these BB are not the ideal place but I’d hate to think of someone being so angry with no one to talk to.
Muel
Hi Lethal,
I think the more relevant question would be, what would you be happy with?
There is lots of information out there to be had, but regardless of that some people just aren’t happy. I think Charlie’s posts are about bang on the money.
Personally, I like many are in above 0.3 so on deal completion I would be happy with 0.4 - 0.6. That may seem very conservative but until we get material value from what Art has been quoting, the market may still unfortunately take its time.
I am also here for the long run.
Muel
It’s worded a little softer than the RNS:

Look, I am not one to go on personal attacks or be negative. I am not the most knowledgeable person in the world when it comes to researching stocks, a rely on these boards and the resources kindly provided.
LB28 either has an agenda or cares not for our opinions and will make money regardless of them.
It doesn’t take a genius to go back through his posting history to see. Although largely negative little snippets sneak through, “I’m in at 0.4”... “I’ve just sold at 0.28, it’s taken me a while but if you can’t beat them join them”..
Then “what do you think the SP will be guys, my guess is..”
Well LB28, your guess was 1p Jan / Feb. The deal isn’t even complete yet and you’ve been crying for weeks. I would say it’s abundantly clear you want to flip the stock and keep a little on a free ride, which is fine but you don’t have to be so negative NOT “real” about things all the time.
The research is out there for you to read, you clearly just breed on speculation and any negatives you can cling on to, why I don’t know. Maybe you are trying to trade from 0.2 to 0.28 again.. who knows. I suppose you will be doing the same on SYME, another share for the get rich quick brigade.
To everyone else reading this. Shall we not get bogged down on attacking each other. We are nearly there, a lot of the LTH I can see aren’t getting draw into this but there is a mass of new names doing their standard stuff.
I WILL be busting out the filter button. I’m some people are beyond saving.
Muel
CawCaw, I think you’re ace man. I’ve always loved your balanced posts and have had little reason to disagree.
I just feel if this deal was done in August, money already changing hands etc.. surely there has to be something legally binding behind that? I’m aware of the 15% stake, but if we have provided money to temporarily increase production / maintain production at all surely we would be owed for that?
Muel
Shouston, that’s exactly what I said =p..
Joking aside I have been in here a while now and have a good 2-5 year plan.
People questioning the deal falling through, what would be the alternative for Atomic? Another deal? More time losing money? How would that work legally?
Muel
I’m not fed up, from a personal prospective I will be pulling the trigger on a top up Friday so these levels suit me just fine.
I presume we’ve all done the reading, it has been highlighted many times on this board by our astute posters. I couldn’t care less if anything got extended at this point so long as the deals still on as the fundamentals remain the same.
Best of luck,
Muel
Well said Nipper, exactly my position.
Muel
Skipped through bits but looked good. Personally I have 13 pay days a year and this months an “extra” one, if we maintain this until Friday I will be topping up.
Bonus end of feb but I suspect the ship will have sailed by then.
Muel
Forgive me if this has already been said, I haven’t kept up today. I felt like the interview was better than usual, felt like it was semi scripted in design to release the information they wanted to release without “as much waffle”.
They interested thing that struck me was about “I’ve already received feedback” about the contract not being binding etc. Now what I’m curious about is who off? You would presume that Art and his mates would be well versed or informed of such procedures?
Maybe some of the larger investments or not so well informed? Just a thought, probably not relevant.
Muel
Oh hahaha sorry half a million shares. I wouldn’t be waiting for a house if I had half a million pounds lol! I forget who I’m talking to here but it’s relative to me.
Muel
So my house fell through today, I know this is going to break out. Sat biting my nails whether to pull the trigger on another half a mill.
What is life!
Muel
I must admit I was somewhat surprised again this morning to see the SP down, I thought “surely there hasn’t been a bad RNS”... then I check and lone behold there hasn’t in my eyes.
Yes it all seems a little in bad taste but at the end of the day it has secured revenue for us and if the deal finalises then who knows.
The only thing I couldn’t see was a placing price so I presume it’s .2p again, I suppose this time around having some ii’s and high profile pi’s we might see some longer term holding as opposed to a 20% flip. Who knows.
At the end of the day if everything lines up we will have something, even if that something has reduced in size.
Has anyone any thoughts on a share consolidation or whatever it’s called to cut the share number?
