āThere are a few that got stung on the way up todayā
Wash your mouth out son. There are a few that have been here way before atomic and have averages in and above the 30p mark.
These are the types of comments which make my LTH feet itch.
I wouldnāt call it worry, but Iām becoming increasingly aware now weāve opened up a gap for trading games. Regardless of CUDA, I fear we will be in this cycle a while.
Iām an optimist though, nearly 3 years in and not sold a been you have to be.
Not quite the midnight reading I was expecting, really saddening news.
My heart goes out to Jays family, you can only imagine what theyāre going through. Iām more than happy to put toward anything fitting, to pay tribute to a fellow COPLer.
RIP Jay, memories last forever.

So a very quick skim read of a couple of paragraphs of the following:

Maybe the rainmaker you seek is in the data from such gamma ray techniques.. it is 2022 you know.

Whatās 85/% and 85%?
Love me them 85ās
Muel
Trigger? As in Iāve changed the broom head 13 times and the handle 7, but itās still the same broom Dave?
Happy to draw a line under it too but I disagree with the inconsistent posting theory. Not always the same kettle of fish and itās easy to review someoneās posting history. I think we all know the tells..
The latter shaa, who knows. Itās Friday right?! Iām just thinking about my beer tonight nothing else.
Have a good one all
Muel
Iām not sure thatās entirely Saha and Iām not quite sure of your agenda except potential frustration or trying to get a reaction? Neither would be like you so I donāt know.
I neither agree or disagree with the P theory, but I wouldnāt doubt it based on previous experiences. To state some sort of gang war theory seems a little off base to me.
Now we will just spam up the BB with placement chat again or āit wasnāt meā.
Either way, itās nearly time to walk down the aisle.

Fantastic post CawCaw. I would hasten to agree with you. Additionally just like the signs were clear the week pre RNS or RNA or whatever people call it, with an influx of ānew investorsā.
Itās good to hear the manner in which you speak though, I believe the only thing you potentially missed out was the slow trudge now until these assessments occur. Potentially the pushing back of time lines.
But letās not be silly, this is the new and improved COPL. Joking aside, as I have always said the fundamentals remain the same (now with extras!).
Hold the course.
Muel
Iām generally keeping quiet about all of this at the minute, but I have to point out the validity of CawCaws post.
I love this share, I am a blind tribesman. I believe in the steady fundamentals for the most part. We could slowly bring wells online, generate cash flow and have a slowly but surely profitable business.
I think we can all agree thought that the possibility of the other occurring (cash raises etc) would not be completely off the table given history.
I am as I always remain to be, loyal. But please do not be surprised if this does not move from say the ā20ās rangeā for a few months, or we go up a few weeks and settle here.
Weāve seen it before, we will see it again. If you are sure in your investment it matters little. I havenāt sold on a peak yet and I intend not too. This is still a mid - long game for many.
Have a pleasant day all, enjoy the hype if thatās your thing.
Muel
Thereās a first time for everything, you should speak to Mrs Muel.
Iām just hanging tight, itās all just conjecture at the moment but weāve all seen the board explode like this before only to fall into silence in a couple of weeks.
People forget the time of year, financial hardship, general market attitude etc.
I know what Iāll be doing come January. Every spare penny will be going in here. Unfortunately for me, by the time I get opportunity you can guarantee we wonāt be in this position.
You can also guarantee all the people causing disruption will be laughing all the way to the bank with the 20% or what have you.
Stay strong, the fundamentals remain the same.
Muel
Iāve kept quiet for a while now, but I felt the need to post this morning.
Weāve all seen this multiple times. Posters with no fixed avail, posters with sporadic history, new accounts and identifying sentence structures or āwinky facesā.
The fundamentals remain. Informative factual posters I thank you for keeping my motivation in this stock (Tilburn et al). I moved all of my assets here a year ago upon news of Atomic, although I may be 30-50% down on my original position I stand by that.
Letās cut the nonsense about iiās, Art, politics. Itās clear there has been an influx of activity on here and that usually only means one thing.
This share will be positive no doubt about it. Thereās information in the public domain, we are at a cash positive / enhancing position (Asset valuation included.)
Iām all for conversation, but this channel has become disrupted for the worse IMO. Iāll be here for years, like I have been. enough said.
Muel
Hi EggChaser,
I will certainly do that, I was just merely stating not to just take everything at face value. I too am in Copl and am aware of the concept of gas injection. But again with gas injection comes time and cost, cost for the gas and I believe you have to drill injection wells no? Again just a suggestion not to take it on face value.
I will have a good read this weekend, I still back this share. I like others would just like some further clarity.
Muel
Saffron #2 200-300bopd looks good on paper but if you look at the presentation it looks like a decline curve halving in production after 22 months.
As much as I like this share, the information is there to be had. I appreciate starchilds input always but blanket statements are always the clear picture.
Muel
Iām sure if it ever came to it we could all club together and buy the company ourselves. Iāll happily run the show for Ā£30k a year + expenses..
Muel
Hereās a question, if the drill results are so compelling why would another company not just take us out instead of carrying the financial burden of another drill?
Iām not sure how buyouts are calculated but say we sit on a market cap of Ā£22m would Ā£100m be reasonable? That way they would have the Trinidad asset in the back pocket if anything do go wrong and all the other exploratory licences.
An alternative view is the data IS compelling, and Bpc wouldnāt agree to a reasonable buy out price anyone would pay..
Either way weād win right?
Muel
Only 30 posts today and weāve already had āinnocentā mentions of SYME, UKOG, MATD, RMP..
Anyone want to mention any other shares? Honestly this deal as good as itās been for the company has bought some right fly by night investors.
Muel
I think Iām done with this board for a bit.
āI suspect you want that abuse to support your mindsetā..
A response that just typifies the kind of comments that are now tossed about for no reason.
Muel
Wow. Well I wasnāt expecting to log on to that today.
Honestly what has got into everyone?
First CawCaw good to see you. Iām very surprised about some of the behaviour going on here. This board is for sharing opinions whether they be mutual or not.
I mentioned not so long ago about a Ā£40m placing at 2p being āonlyā 15% dilution and I got some negative comments. Now I care not for the likes that call me a āmeltā but you are all so focused on the doom and gloom of dilution I feel the point of it sails by.
Iām not for one minute saying I want another raise but as previously stated I believe it will be to bring the optimum financial outcome in the long run. I think given the Atomic deal, I would be more inclined to believe we would chase more exposed assets as opposed to a marginal, or both who knows.
- If we are getting diluted at that level the impact is a lot less.
- If you donāt like the thought of more dilution sell out.
The point is thanks to the previous moves we are in the position we are in today. I would happily risk 15% of my newly acquired 4/5 bagged investment for another atomic than not.
Ultimately my preference would be for steady progressive profit but we know thatās not the world we live in. Either way no one cares what I think because Iām a āmeltā.
Muel
Very insightful Charlie, I hadnāt even considered that but I think you may possibly be right. Never have a seen so much unjustified rubbish constantly spouted at every opportunity.
I had noticed myself that every time I seem to post something, no matter how balanced I seem to get one individual who always has to reply negatively. I believe I was branded a āmeltā in on of the most recent posts.
Well Iām not selling, and your negativity doesnāt touch me either. Itās disgraceful really.
