The energy policy certainly sucks. Russia is one of the biggest providers of gas to Spain. LNG tankers into Bilbao.

The Government talks about green energy and sanctions on Russia yet does the complete opposite. They need more not less nuclear power, BKY's mine, and less gas usage and imports particularly Russian.

Have to say Peak Nickel looks good. Detailed presentations flowing nicely. Much is subject to funding but I like "prepare for IPO".

Shame about the ORM SP though.

It might be a bit chicken and egg or catch 22 re MKA funding, at least any equity part.

MKA said no to a raise in Jan because of SP decline and to avoid overdilution. The March £750k seeks to enable achievement of certain Hypromag milestones, hoping to encourage buying to push up the MKA sp to enable a less dilutive raise, but the market might wait anyway till the main funding to achieve all current business lines is in place.

At least the newsflow's good with more to come in the near future.

All v positive and moving apace, I'm not sure why the sp is so low either. The newsflow re the Hypromag technology at Tyseley should continue, as per Allan Walton on 1 July:

"Commissioning of the short-loop recycling plant is gathering momentum following commissioning of the commercial scale magnet manufacturing presses in December last year, with infrastructure development starting in the coming weeks, and delivery of the powder processing plant and HPMS vessel expected in July and August, respectively."

Cotec and its shareholders (largely its directors) are obviously more than convinced. "CoTec is responsible for funding the Feasibility Study and the project development costs. Funding provided by CoTec would be in the form of shareholder loans to HyProMag USA."

JT will presumably talk on Friday about Envipro, the Fort Worth site, Linda Lourie's appointment and customer/partner interest in magnet recycling. All great but hopefully he'll also update on Tylesley production/sales. He's been using the 3000 figure since March for number of recycled magnets produced.

Certainly doesn't help Sanchez and his flimsy coalition, but I imagine he'll blunder on for as long as he can (including current approach to BKY's project).

Maybe the separatists will suddenly get the hots for uranium, and demand permits for BKY as the next price for propping Sanchez up. He's decriminalised sedition, so he'd easily grant the permits, which he should lawfully do anyway.

Whatever shape the funding takes, it just got a whole lot easier. Funders purse strings should be loosening nicely. Liking these recycling milestones...Long loop plant commissioning in next few weeks hopefully, then the short loop plant and US FS later this year. Will mentioned a tie up with Canada was being looked at too.

Excellent RNS. Julian mentioned Japan and the Middle East as targets about 3 months ago, it's good to see this Envipro collaboration happen so quickly. We might see similar in the ME shortly too for a truly global reach.

As at the recent Mining Forum, the MoM Sec talks of focusing on processing and adding value to minerals in Malawi. On the face of it, that doesn't sit well with the "refine" part of MKA's strategy (Pulawy separation plant intended to be fed by mixed RE carbonate from Songwe). Unless Malawi have already agreed it. I don't think MKA have ever said it's an issue but we don't want curbs on exports of product to Pulawy. The review is no doubt addressing the risks here.

Looks like the market's receiving news of the Arbitration positively. I very much like that the US$1bn claim is "preliminary"!!!
