Ageos - due to the fact that the article a few weeks ago announcing President Buhari signing off one, or some of the winners was displayed at the same time as the recent price rise, and the fact that today's article states that the Nigerian Government is trying to please all 161 applicants. would you say we already have the Nigerian licence and are merely waiting for the external company negotiations with the government to conclude?

Ageos - thanks for the Oil and Gas update on Marginal Fields Bid. This seems to be determined on whether AC has been prudent with his choice of Marginal Fields. A lesser project has significantly more chance of success, whereas a large project with greater potential draws in a larger number of competitors. It does seem also that my conclusion on signature bonus was correct and is split between each approved party. Should have an answer pretty soon.

That's an odd thing to say Thanglan. They only recently moved 40% and held, on the back of nothing. If the loan notes had any significance the price would have tanked back to the low 30's. When you go back in two years time you need to be careful, your heart might not be able to take the shock.

Of the five potential licence approvals, the most prime candidate has to be Tunisia first. Coming up to eight months since first applied and two announcement disclosures of 60 days and 31st December. Nigerian Marginal fields expected shortly after.

Something interesting for all those BPC shareholders to think about. This mornings RNS announcing a new placing for $20m wasn't much to cheer about I'm sure. Even more, the plan is to fund expansion of assets in Trinidad, Suriname and Uruguay with the prospect of 2500 BOE per day by the end of 2021. We on the other hand could, if we get Tilapia, be pumping 5000 BOE per day within 6 months.

Thanks for that MG, absolutely right. I wasn't pointing towards anyone in particular more so using Rocklawn's post as an example. Reading back over last years posts most of you have contributed tremendous words of encouragement at different times, then swiftly reverts to something more in tune with an offspring of Beelzebub, it really is crazy. The important thing to remember is that these threads are the shareholder emotions felt, and are clear for everyone to see. So the view that no one takes any notice, ask yourself, why does Tom Winnifrith earn a substantial living from taking companies apart, look at the damage he did to our share price. Everything on here is seen by thousands in this country and abroad, and everything written has an effect.

On a slightly different subject, fantastic to see the positive market response over the last week. Shows there is quite a few investors willing to pounce when that spread closes.

I would be posting here more often Rocklawn, but to be honest it's hard to find the strength to associate myself with what can only be described as "the lower end of the barrel". I'm a relative newcomer to this thread so I don't know any of you as you obviously know each other, but looking from the outside in, it's a shambles. You all desperately want this company to be a success but you all bash each other, and the CEO, day after day, and for what. As far as can see it he's made one mistake in Azerbaijan, of which I'm sure he will admit, it just didn't go as expected. It happens all the time with every company in every country. So whats the point of bashing someone who was obviously aware of his mistake, rectified it and brought us to a position we now stand. There is a lot to be said for those that persevere in the pursuit of achieving a lifelong endeavour to build a small company into a great company. This man has , in a time of crisis and danger throughout the world, pulled of the deal of the century, added four more deals to it, devoted more than a year of his life, away from his family to bring this company back from a potentially dark place. What does he get for this exemplary effort "he's a bit of a dick". My god, are we that low. The man who could in a very short space of time, line all your pockets with gold, and you call him "a dick". It's sickening to read to be honest, not something I would be proud of, and what does it look like from the point of view of potential shareholders. How do they view this company when the shareholders continuously bash the CEO for nothing, and please don't tell me about "he's dragged this company down from 12p". Oh dear, you think it doesn't happen to other companies. Let me tell you, the best companies in the world go through rough times, it happens. You are all investing much hard earned cash in this company, don't throw the baby out with the bathwater, get a grip people.

The first real news was in an article a few days ago with President Buhari signing off one of the bidders in the Nigerian bid round. The next news today was the article saying he's signed them all. The Bors may have risen on the back of that recent article. I'm not saying Tilapia is not expected, it still is, but it does make me think the Nigerian news will come first.

Pacman1 - I hope I'm wrong of course, but that was my guess. They are not obliged to give an "interim report" as they did last year. I figured they would hold off issuing a report this year to avoid the forced position of having to include a positive announcement on Break-even. This would then take them into the next quarter which gives them time to make another acquisition, which then delays Break-even to beyond end of year results.

Just my theory or should I say guess Bakky. Still waiting for the Covid update within the next two weeks that will not include any financials.
