The drop in lithium prices is unfortunate. Longer term demand will catch up but short term it is what it is.

Ben, if BZT are relying on the PI then they really do have a problem. The PI is a densely populated country with a vulnerable ecosystem. Many areas are not suitable for large scale mining. For sure the current Marcos Jr Gov favours mining. But then Ferdinand Marcos tried to build a nuclear power station on a geological fault line in an earthquake prone country !. As First Quantum are finding out in Panama, governments change.

Hopefully now the BZT placing is out the way Colin can get back to GLR duties.

Sometimes l wonder why Colin just doesn't just merge his companies, sell off some off the assets and actually get some copper out of the ground. I pray you are right Iky. Personally l don't even want to sell our Sandfire shares, at least they go up in value !

I know it's off topic, but it is a cold, wet Sunday. Now we have left the EU, the regulators should insist all investors are treated equally. Some AIM companies have done it so why not all ?.

Placings give the more knowledgeable investors a chance to pick up cheap shares and warrants. And nice income for their city mates. Occasionally even extend the life of the typical dead beat company found on AIM. Older investors might argue that it enabled companies to grow but sadly most of those investors have now passed away.

I note on the JLP bb that there is talk of the Chambishi refinery reopening. So they will concentrate at Luansobe and then refine at Chambishi ?. Colin in based in the UAE ?, and we know he had discussions with the new owners. All hotting up for 2024. Just need those licences now.

I am not sure if any news at the moment is market sensitive, at most you get a pop for a day or 2. - at least in the shares I own. But Colin has been tweeting or X'ing about Zambia so he is still around.
