I'm still interested to hear the pre-presentation chat you dropped a hint on last week regarding KIST, come on we're all ears! I'd like to add an earlier interview AA did with Malcy shortly after Kist was up and running he mentioned Serica in it which got my attention then.. only briefly but he didn't have to from memory..

Last year we had the RNS announcing the Interim results on the 2nd Sept with results due on the 10 Sept, it could be possible they're waiting on a minimum of a months production/stable flow, to be able to give some solid figures on R3 , however it would be good to get an RNS update stating R3 is online & producing & keep interest up & some momentum, come on Mitch!!

Seems a way off Newkotb when you’re waiting to hear on news of R3 going into production…..

What is your problem? Blingy is correct in that our acreages do have TAPs running through them & central lease etc, just because he didn’t link Umiat, Merlin 1 with anything to do with Connaco Phillips Willow project, doesn’t mean it gives you the right to say someone isn’t doing enough research etc etc.. you don’t know people’s situations… last night you told Seahawk to sell up because he stated how a farm out might work.. give it a rest ….

Good spot that Newkotb, i’ve been keeping an avid eye to see if any change on GRG’s holding!

A question to the more knowledgeable… with the last holdings RNS, GRG were at 5.78%, as an international company isn’t 5% the level required to notify holdings? so in reverse & selling down, do GRG have to notify that they’ve gone below the 5%? would that be there last requirement… going by last weeks selling they could easily be below the 5% already..

I could be wrong but my thought is FCM just manage the money side of things for IOC, as in they run the trust.. here’s a link to an article earlier in the year i’ve found that mentions the trust without the name, it all relates back to the BKR deal completing & looks like it’s been in place since then…. all just down to how something is written & interpreted…

The national oil company of sanctions-hit Iran used to hold 50% of Rhum through a subsidiary called Iranian Oil Company (IOC) UK.

Before Serica wrapped up its deal, ownership of IOC UK’s shares transferred to a trust registered in Jersey.

I’m interested to know, & of course each to their own, why you’re holding on by your finger tips, with just the start of the move up & the expected news of R3 online, Columbus, the heightened talk of an acquisition of something at least 50% size of our market cap, Jan 1st 100% BKR & the sort of numbers mentioned by Sasa43 going forward ?? I for one will be looking forward to the dividend payment later this month & adding to my holding.
Also like to say i also appreciate the numbers/calcs by the like of Sasa etc …

What’s the chances that GRG need to be out to facilitate a deal with IOC regarding taking over there stake? ie no American business links to Serica, the statement in the article & the selling down over the last couple of days seem a little close to each other. The Bod are obviously in the know & should update shareholders even if it’s regards clarification on the article.. I tweeted the journalist regards the statement & what’s the source of the info but as yet no reply, & i don’t really expect one…

Interesting according to the link that DW joined them early 2021, well in advance of the May leaving date, & now 88e are one of their clients……

I wouldn’t be so sure it’s Serica themselves or someone of importance, there PR company runs their linkedin & twitter accounts, so chances are whoever’s pressed liked hasn’t to much of a clue…. i could be totally wrong of course..

May 7th we had a TR-1 notifying the change from 11.98 - 10.88 & now in fairly short order now down to 5.78% (obviously they held a higher percentage previous to the 7th) so if one buyer they’ve crossed the 5% notification percentage, should we be expecting a new holding notification??…
