"I have 4 individual shares , vod being one of them, which are all in loss, as for the ones in loss, they could possibly make a good profit for me next year, or not ?"
Everyone has their own investing style, and much will depend on their investing time window. I'm currently sitting on paper losses on my BT and Vodafone investments, but I see Telecoms as one of the few big money making industries over the next ten years.
You could invest in Crypto where some people have made an absolute fortune, if they invested early on, took the profit, and aren't still sitting on a paper profit in some Bitcoin wallet; Personally I agree with people like Jamie Dimon, or John Paulson, who state that there's no intrinsic value to Crypto currency, and it's therefore worthless, the only question is, when will the music stop playing? You could also invest in US big tech, but has that boat sailed? Regulators are gearing up to go after the "FAANG's", or whatever the new acronym is, with recent fines for Amazon, Apple, Meta, Google, and various regulatory investigations ongoing. There may also be big changes to Net Neutrality, that could also hit Big Tech's pockets.
Telecoms may be spending big at the moment, but once 5G and FTTP rollout's are completed, it's unlikely that there'll be any further big infrastructure spend for decades to come, as the technology is now pushing the boundaries of our current understanding of physics. 6G/mm Wave is limited by range and obstructions, apart from the services that will use current 5G Wavelengths, so the higher mm Frequencies will likely serve highly populated close range and covered venues, so might be better viewed as WiFi rather than mobile, and will be an extension of 5G, not a replacement.
The current low valuations, for Telecom stocks, are an opportunity for long term holders, but that's just my opinion, and the reason I'll keep holding, topping up, and waiting.
