HL's view on things... read the last line and wish lol<br /><br />UK Oil and Gas ups stake in Horse Hill Developments<br />(Sharecast News) - AIM-listed investor UK Oil and Gas has upped its stake in the Horse Hill oil discovery via a �4.5m acquisition of fellow AIM-listed firm Solo Oil's interest in the project's operator.<br />UKOG entered into a sale and purchase agreement with Solo to acquire the firm's 15% shareholding in Horse Hill Developments, the operator and 65% interest holder in the Portland and Kimmeridge Limestone oil discovery, as well as the PEDL137 and PEDL246 licences.<br /><br />Upon completion, UKOG will hold a majority 71.9% interest in Horse Hill Developments and a 46.7% beneficial interest in the licences.<br /><br />UKOG revealed the acquisition will be satisfied through the issue of 234.04m new ordinary shares of 1.92p each.<br /><br />Stephen Sanderson, UKOG's chief executive, said: "This further strategic acquisition firmly cements UKOG as the dominant player in the Horse Hill Portland and Kimmeridge oil discoveries and Licences.<br /><br />"With the positive Portland test results to date, UKOG, supported by its remaining three coventurers, can now steer the way towards permanent HH oil production in 2019."<br /><br />In order to ensure parity with its recent 7% acquisition of HHDL, UKOG also agreed to issue London-listed players Gunsynd and Primorus Investments a further 2.6m and 6.5m shares, respectively.<br /><br />As of 0820 BST, UKOG shares had lost 2.27% to 4.96p.

Lost about a 3rd of my share value over this... Have bailed as I cannot lose anymore, I just cannot believe with the cash in the company record profits for the first half of the year that it has lost over 25% of the companies value

I am glad today's not to bad considering, yesterday was a disaster, my works Pc packed up, so I was unaware what was happening until it was all to late to do anything but hope for the day to finish..

There appears to be some big buy in's today..

Anyone else surprised it is not performing as one would expect this close to Divi day? I would have thought it would be rising more than it is, and think the fact it isn't does not bode well for the drop post Divi day.

Agreed, couldn't pick a worse time, though it's listed as 7am, and shares had risen since then before dropping.

Up on the day so far after a shaky and nervous start, It looks like its stabilising and recovering....... Doh! I shouldn't have said that!

Although down today I am still up about 140%, this was a longer term share I have held since the irregularities crash and it has always exceeded my expectations hence I am happy to continue with it in the medium turn if it continues to grow, with hindsight I should have sold when the free fall started then bought back in, but as in life if one could predict that the free fall was going to carry on and not reverse, I would be a very rich man.

Do you think it was partially panic selling? I just hope it calms down soon, down a couple of grand now even factoring in the dividend. Everything I see as a layman from the results to the target prices issued tell me it should be doing better than this.

Still in, with divi etc counted down a bit , but that amount reducing as we speak, end of the day I am currently running at 151% profit on my holdings after buying more when the price bottomed... so fairly happy, seems to have stabilised though the lunchtime brigade do tend to cause a little turmoil.

Still in as well sheltie, I thought those selling Friday were reaping a short term profit due to Monday's uncertainty, myself I am hoping for a hike of up to a £1.<br /><br />Good luck those still in, I still cannot figure Odey mentioned below can see them up at 70.
