The reason for Odey's sell off

Odey Asset Management is to be broken up as the hedge fund continues to reel from allegations of sexual misconduct made against its now ousted founder.
The firm said it was in “advanced discussions” to transfer funds and staff to rival asset managers just a week after Crispin Odey was accused of a slew of sexual harassment claims over a 25-year period.
A law firm representing Mr Odey said he “strenuously disputed” the allegations.
In a statement to clients on Thursday, Odey Asset Management said it was in advanced talks to rehouse its funds and shift employees to other asset managers, subject to regulatory approval.
Blimey, having read the last few posts you are all like a shoal of Piranha, all willing to feed off one another when there is no information coming from ANGS to feed on….. Step back and take a chill pill, it will be ready when it is ready and not before, there is no need for a backbiting competition between our selves, especially as after the years of waiting we and the company are finally at the precipice of greatness.
Singhie, that is as clear as the mud they are trying to get rid of, please explain those figures :)
I did wonder if the temp pipework in use is not of sufficent bore to carry the full capacity of the gas the well is producing, hence you wouldn't want to put out figures that are lower than what they will actually get with the permanent pipe??
Just a wild guess on my behalf with no factual basis ....
3p would put me into profit with ANGS, but as with everyone I would like to see more.
I am down too, by about 24% on what I invested, my average paid is 2.08
but thats nothing compared to UKOG where I am down about 95% on what was invested, I was away for a while and took my eye off the ball, No point selling at that loss, so just letting UKOG sit and see what happens, they appear to be picking up a bit.
What got me even as a layman reading the RNS you were left wondering about output totals and connections and I am not even in the industry, you would think they would have passed it around these so called professionals for comments and alterations before posting it, and then GL putting out his statement to clarify several points came to late to undo the collapse in the share price while still leaving questions unanswered. Unreal, there is cautious and I understand that, but to collapse the share price by nearly 10% is just plain crazy.
Whilst producing through a temporary connection, the new well flowline will be constructed to enable full plateau production this summer.Whilst producing through a temporary connection..That infers to me it is as it was seperate line from the rest of the RNS...As it is producing through it on a temporary basis until the main flowline is manufactured, the keyword in my eyes as a layman is producing.
That is the RNS they should have released, instead of that ambigious one, I do hope Push see's it as he goes off on Holiday :)
I seem to remember its been similar on there for months, the link, scroll down to questions at the bottom.

Echo1, it strikes me as odd to sell up just before the “ floodgates” finally open. If the share price can rise as it did today when the rig left, imagine what will happen when they start pumping gas, that’s when the price will rise, even in the short term IMHO
Having served during the cold war, I never trusted Russia full stop and could not understand the worlds rush to get into bed with them
- Within a week 5.5mmscf/d #gas flow + 50bpd condensate
5.5mmscf/d = 55,000 therms/day = 1,540,000pcm
Current gas price £4p/t = £6,160,000pcm
+ 50bpd condensate @ £72.50pb = £101,500pcm
Grand total= £75,000,000pa
Not including 2nd Compressor or Sidetrack!
Currently 5.5mmscf/d is 55,000 therms/day or 1,540,000 pcm
With the most recent info we need 1,460,000 therms pcm to cover the hedge where we receive only 43p. But the rest of the 80,000 therms are full market value.
The 2nd compressor and sidetrack is more pure profit #angs

Welcome aboard SocoTec. Looking good so far and I do love seeing the rise in prices.
Thank you.
I noted in the RNS today that they were mentioning STORAGE which regardless of gas adds another facet to the pot, the one thing missing is an accurate best guess on future valuations as some have been as high as £1 which in my eyes is barking mad, 5 p in my total amateur eyes appears attainable and 10 p is a dream ticket level, anythin* else would be a cherry on the pie.
