My worst fears are they are sitting on below par results for the Portland and hoping the Kimmeridge pays off so they can announce both together.
End of the day though, you don't buy a dead duck off anyone, (unless it's for lunch).. So why would you buy another companies share out, if you know there was nothing to gain from it..

Why is it fantasy? I bought into Plus500 when they had issues at about £3.21 and sold a load at £20.70 a couple of years later.
"Well a poor week but something tells me things will be better next week. Did I write that?"
yes...... last week...... and the week before........ :E only joking.
"Thanks Alan, very informative."
Agreed
You trying to whip up a frenzy of activity?
Dont panic, but it's Friday, we should have the 3p'er rush soon.. bemoaning the fact it hasn't got there.
I hope not, most tidal waves are water.... ;)
"Secondly and I pointed this out. You need to keep tabs on whats happening at Frontera Resources (FRR) where a finance provider YA looks like its been caught out naked short selling shares it had not been issued with or authorised to sell and in consequence it dropped the share price. This may have significance for UKOG for their CLN with YA had a "no short selling" clause yet from about the time of their involvement the share price went from 7.5p to 1.5p. FRR are investigating their dealings and consulting solicitors. UKOG in the interests of its share holders should be doing similar for the constantly reducing share price will have led to more shares being issued than otherwise and associated dilution and may also have led to an artificially low fundraising at 0.9p pre EWT."

Sorry, "You're"
Nothing much has changed, price has been stable, but on a slight downward slope, Brexit still dragging on as usual and our MP's still not doing their jobs, I.e carrying out the will of the people, and the weathers cooled off dramatically.
RE: RE: RE: 2 million buy!
So your no longer a pollywog ?
"Is anybody going to risk going to lunch? :)
Not if you are short. Its laptops to the lavvy and both hands on the laptop."
Strange place to take luncheon
"valveamp, unless you're suggesting going out to an Italian restaurant in Salisbury...yes lunch is on LOL"
I thought they were doing a Meg Ryan over lunch and faking it?
Keef81
Sort of in the same position as you, but that is how I read it ...fingers crossed.
Another thing that makes me feel that way, is you do not buy out a competitor / partner, if you think you are onto a loser.
"Keef81 although I am probably the wrong one to voice a view on your question I think Xodos will ratify the company's findings."
I tend to agree, there may be some fluctuation either way but I would think the findings would be similar, the Company is hardly likely to lie to the market as their credibility would dissapear over night along with their share price, so they would have to be pretty accurate in their findings and reporting. Lets hope it is so :)

Starbright, It was not my figures I simply copied them over for those on here to look at, they are I believe based on a big oil company buying out UKOG based on the proven oil reserves etc and hence 10 years down the line wouldnt really come into it? <br />I realise they will have to factor in extraction etc when offering a price, but would they not be buying simply the assets which are the oil field etc. After all you do not buy a petrol station and ignore the quantity of fuel in the underground tanks.
