Thanks Merchant - I came to the same conclusion regarding the IPO in the motive for it - 20% float seems to look at building value for the rest of it. I haven't seen the prospectus at all but I would be surprised if it didnt' go ahead....Cheers

I do want to know why that was withdrawn though. Regulator - you have a lot of experience in the medical industry - is it likely they either overstepped the mark or is there something more serious they have breached? Thanks.

Hi DubleD. It was CIGA who had a PDF up with a key paragraph at the bottom. Walbrooke PR linked to it from thier twitter, but CIGA have now withdrawn it.

Thanks Jolygood! Yes I agree with that observation about uncertainty. I don't think for one moment the IPO will endanger the agreement, just it will split our share buyers looking for a quicker return, which will obviously knock us down for a while.

Hi J. I'm actually not a trader or a deliberate de-ramper. I've been in too many AIM shares and held continuously only to lose the lot so I now preserve my investments as best I've can - and having been wiped out before I will never try to manipulate others into taking action. But I am suffering from severe frustration with ODX which in the last 2 days has made me very negative. I also don't really believe a BB like this can influece the SP in any meaningful way unless it gets tied in with the likes of the CIGA tweet that mentioned billions of antibody tests would be needed (and has since been pulled - with no confirmation from any of the consortium as to why - and it is that attitude of theirs that is frustrating). Furthermore, the IPO has been a bit like the straw that broke my back with this, although MB has helped alleviate some of those concerns - but whether that will reach out to the wider 'rainbow chasing crowd' is certainly up for question. Cheers.

Do we really know that "Mologic are on the verge of cracking the antigen test?" Their previous attempts with the Elisa seem to have fallen completely flat after the infamous "...failed to materialise"
Personally I'm sceptical about them. Everything is taking far too long with them.

Think I'll email him myself as there are some very basic but important questions the IPO has thrown up. Merchant is no doubt correct BUT there are going to be a lot of investors in ODX who will jump ship to ABH after 1) Getting frustrated with ODX 2) Believing that ABH have more potential and Ip control for licensing. The facts as Jadam and MB have reported them to me indicate they aren't widely known enough to prevent ODX taking a hit on IPO day frankly. This needs to be anticipated by their comms, and, God help us, that means Wallbrooke......

Thanks J - I'm tyrin gto dig out the RNS that this has been reported in. In the Omega one on the 06th Oct it doesn't actually say we will get paid 25% of any units sold. Is there an RNS source that states this rather than emails from Colin?
Also, 25% of revenue from a license agreement is going to be hard to forecast as it obv won't be the same margins we're getting through direct sales - though it would be nice to have a billion orders by April from overseas manufactures. Thanks again.

Thanks Swooped - that's a very useful thing to know - my understanding was that we manufactured not less than 25% of demand, so I was wondering how that might play out if AB do license it out - that goes some way to explaining it. Thanks for the positive answer.

One of the reasons I took some cash off the table yesterday was because of the coming IPO. I think we'll have a wobble in the SP when it happens: AB Health have the IP for the anitbody test. We believe this is one of the best in the world. ODX are forecast to manufacture 104 million at 2 million a week by early next year. That is 104 million. If the vaccines need antibody testing on each person before they are vaccinated, we are obviously looking at global orders of billions. The RTC can't provide that. Abingdon Health, as owners of the IP, can license this globally, which we will need to service the world market. This will create uncertainty as to which share to be in. I believe ODX will sell all it makes, but I don't think we can ignore the IPO so easily. It's frustrating it's being done at all tbh as it muddies the waters. (I am invested in ODX still, av 64p, but I was over extended when I put my previous £5k in on the grounds of the CIGA tweet - which has now been removed!). I also think ODX will be a prime takeover target in the coming months if it's SP doesn't pick itself up. Good luck whatever your decisions.

Personally I don't think it will change much for Omega tomorrow - all these tests being shouted about are antigen....anyone got Mologic's number? It certainly isn't on speed dial.

Not a 2p drop over a week that's true, but maybe a 50% plummet in a little over a month....
I think we need some clarity on where we are or we'll continue to drift. I think if there's any indication that antibody testing isn't needed for the vaccines then ODX is in trouble (I don't know why this would be so but I want it spelled out and how it will be used). I am also concerned that AB Health are IPOing at this key stage as this effectively throws a grenade in the set up by splitting the shareholder base. As for Mologic, I have doubts that we'll be using their antibody at all. That's I've top sliced slightly tonight until I hear more from Boris - as he's speaking right now. (I still think ODX will sell whatever they produce though). GLA.

Well I'll admit I sold £5k tonight just before the end - I am still invested here however but that £5k was what I put in on the Friday low when the CIGA tweet was released. I've left my profit in from that but feel a bit more secure knowing I have a bit more to throw in in case we hit any roadbumps. I think we will sell everything we make, but I want to see more about this vaccine first. GLA.

I got my knuckles wrapped this morning by Regulator and Twacker for a badly worded post (justifiability too). I mentioned that the genetic data necessary for the manufacture of the right antibody tests was public knowledge, and meant that any other company could use this to come up with their own antibody test (they way I worded it read that anyone could build our test - obviously wrong). BUT, if Abingdon license this technology out, how much of a % of the IP do ODX own? Or, as they are contracted to provide no less than 25% of demand, then they must have some system in place for being able to stick to that equivalent revenue even if other manufacturers are brought on board. Do Abingdon own 100% of the IP or is there a breakdown? Thanks.
