The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
I have received notice of the corporate action and requested to vote on administrators proposals.
Does anyone know what their proposals are as there is nothing in the notification to outline these.
I think Tilly mentioned that JT AND CAW had taken shore leave.
Probably on a Rum and lobster pot fest.
Thanks Tilly
Your updates are the 1st thing I look for when I pop in.

The future has got to be Hydrogen
There aren't enough power stations to cope with the rise in usage and that is without the additional upgrading of existing power cable networks to cope with the additional loads.
I placed a limit order this morning with AJ Bell for 20.09p yet it failed to execute despite a low for the day of 19.50.
This isn't the 1st time its happened. Beginning to think its only the big boys that benefit from these drops.
Just shows how things are stacked against us Pi's.. Will just have to go back to buying at best I guess.
The weekend is here shame about the weather forecast though (for us stuck in Blighty).
I will depart quoting the words of Captain Tom Moore.
"Tomorrow will be a good day"
SAE have bounced back 45% this morning after being released from receivership.
Hopefully something similar will happen here if the administrators sort a positive conclusion and haven't tagged all the funds to cover their fees....
With you on that one Gaza
EUA no news up 3.5%
Ocado great news down 3.5%
The more I see the less I understand.!

Just had a quick browse of Sefton's profile on companies house.
Reads like a total car crash of failed and dissolved companies. Cant see that he has brought success to anything he has been involved in.
I have seen mentioned on this board a loan of £1m from Iconic to Greencastle. Zero chance of seeing any of that unless the administrators go after his personal wealth on the grounds of fraudulent trading.
Where's Esther Rantzen when needed ? This guy seriously needs to be investigated and barred from holding directorships.
Could it be possible the offers that were put forward prior to suspension never matched the subsequent SP when trading resumed ?
Hence the time taken and the need to "Increase shareholder value" as the offers have not met the prevailing SP and as such would never be voted through by shareholders.
I am currently deep underwater with EUA and just running all scenarios through my mind.
Its a question to think about not bait to be shouted down as a BOT or deramper.

Holding and hoping the above question is way off the mark.
Think a few stop losses have just been activated with that flash crash to 1.22
Needs to be a massive shake up with how stocks are traded.
If it is so easy for the big boys to have so much influence over and control of share prices.
Should be a free market left to find its own levels. All stocks tied into a centralised block chain system.
It will never happen though because too many with influence have too much to lose by it.
They wouldn't allow every Pi to have direct market access; Stock exchanges would be obsolete.
Up the revolution !!!!
Magicman
Think you nailed it right there.
Very sneaky diluting after the previous RNS's. No trust in the "upto £40M" statement now.
Taking that as a maximum but could be well short of that figure which would make the options placing an even bigger dilution.

"No deny Shareholders are NOT LOOSING MONEY .....You only loose if you sell at a lower price than you paid.........other that those would purchased higher are on paper losses ....."
That's such a foolish mantra. Of course they have lost money because its no longer available to them.
Beast
"Do you just assume when you buy in the SP should never drop below your buy in price?"
I do not assume it will never drop below. I have bought chunks at various prices ranging from 24p to 31.5p from a starting point of circa 26p so quite a range.
What I do assume is that if I think the price is good at the time I wouldnt have a 25% drop in mind or I would not have bought would I ?
I am 25% down on this. Like watching your house burn down and realising you have no insurance.
Very difficult to sell when I have been feeling so positive on this for so long. What have I missed that is causing this drop ?
1) Vague RNS's from the BOD. "Substantial" "Significant" "Increasing shareholder value" all open to interpretation and stand point.
Perhaps the offers have never met the MCAP hence the vagueness in their communications.
I had very high hopes for making a profit on this share to at least double my investment as minimum. Those hopes are now at the point I will be glad to recover at least some of my loss. If this rises to 23p I will still be seriously losing but there maybe a very strong urge to press the sell button.
Easy to stay strong and hold long when your still showing a profit.
What is going on???
The MMs are reading all your Jelly legged comments and realising they can shake more shares free if they drop the price than if they raise it.
Keep whining and we will see the spiral continue..
Thanks Tilly
Your late on deck today. Did you have extra time in the hammock this morning?
Would they have received privileged info prior to taking up the shares placing?
If so why ?
If a Pi had the same amount to invest would they also have been offered the same inside info ?
Any help or factual opinion appreciated
