Law firms are heavily regulated and conservative by nature. It would take a massive shift in policy for any law firm to accept a barter for fees. You would need a major shift in mindset of the managing partners to allow it plus also a consideration of their own articles and likely re-write.

As a trader, this for me is a green light. I cannot think of many instances barring escrow management under trust where a law firm gets involved in this way? I might try to barter with my corporate lawyers and offer them shares in payment on my next transaction :)
