Don't have to prove Jack schiess to you ear , try doing some real research , ever been to a Lithium forum or 2 , an Annual general meeting , spoken to brokers ? Or spoken to people in the know ? LOL just a big fat Joke ear .
Lithium – whether for lithium-ion batteries, or more realistically, lithium-metal – will be necessary for that. What’s seen as an oversupplied market could just as quickly flip: Hooper estimates that if Tesla and VW meet their published sales goals, there’ll be no lithium left for other electric vehicle producers.
European backing for Northvolt’s battery gigafactory
New head line in Future , " European backing for Czech mining of Lithium "
& other battery metals face supply crunch by 2020s
South Korea’s SK Innovation is already in talks to set up separate battery-making joint ventures with Volkswagen AG , Who has been in Korea and whom will probably supply them Lithium !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Residential storage in Europe to grow 500% by 2024
That's the trouble with you earache a newspaper researcher rather than industry researcher . "A correction is called for. We did not receive an ITT from VW." What a load of codswallop , ask KC yourself . Oddly enough the price of Lithium in the lithium tender was $10,000 a tonne under similar terms to the Cobalt tender . You are so full of unsubstantiated crap . And so far removed from reality it is frightening . I challenge you to find out how many people we are in discussions with , try currently Tesla . If you would just ask some brokers and/or our management . Get your head out of your ar..............
No way mac4671 , KC has been talking to VW for two years , and we received a tender for supply 2 years ago . You don't think that discussions would not be on going considering VW did not get a response from any of the mines . EMH would be talking to all and sundry for sure . Why would he go to Korea if there weren't some customers there that requested his presence .
All it will take is one announcement of offtake and we are off , I am just surprised that the market does not recognise that there actual will be one . VW , BMW , Panasonic , LG etc I am sure we will end up with more than one .
With world politics all over the place , would it not make sense for VW to have their destiny in their own hands manufacturing batteries from locally supplied Lithium from EMH ? Simply no other alternative in my books . I started a business 30 years ago and was held ransom to time lines , pricing etc from subcontractors and suppliers , it just does not work .
VW plans to deliver 22 million fully electric vehicles worldwide by 2028
That's 880,000 tonnes of Lithium . Or aprox 100,000 tones per annum , who are they going to call ?
More realistically who have they called and how long will the negotiations take place , I would suggest any day now til Xmas . Personally I think there will be a big announcement for the Frankfurt Motor show .
Upcoming catalysts include:
H2 2019 - Off-take discussions.
2019/20 - Bankable Feasibility Study to be released.
can you imagine when the broker whom participated in last cap raise runs out of shares to sell . There was a total of 4,166 million in cap raise last two/3 days one would think they may be empty very very soon . 10 % gone in last four orders . something at play here .
ear , it is common that all broker orders are set on a daily basis only , in fact all Chi exchange orders have to be wiped daily , Tsibis makes out this is extra ordinary it is absolutely not . The fact that the order is still being placed each and every day and larger gives us a picture of accumulation . More comforting is the fact the next sell order is now substantially higher and the chickens are being absorbed , 16 sellers for 196,267 units are left starting at 19 p then gap to 21 p the sellers stop at 27 p . this is a clear indication where our price will be in very near future . It also showed plenty waiting in the wings to buy hence why the buyer was not able to get any shares and would not surprise me if they come in again tomorrow at a higher price . Which ill also bring in the waiters from the outside .
Sid , Due to the world markets buyers have been so much more patient particularly since the GFC on the ASX , EMH is also a difficult stock to accumulate in oz , due to the lack of liquidity so they sit and wait , what was interesting those buyers did recognise they had to up their price after a few hours today . the next seller is 1.5 cents away from the buyers , if they are serious they will need in increase their price again to that level and they still will not fulfill their buy order . There are only 15 sellers for 127,607 units on screen . So they will only accumulate slowly , but I suspect the heat will go up on buying b4 the end of Sept when we are epecting CEZ result , which I personally believe is a forgone conclusion .
ant there are buyers also lining up in Oz yesterday a 100,000 share buy and today another 100 k and increased their price with another new order of 50,000 k as well . Very interesting could they be the same people , could they be accumulating on both exchanges ? I have not seen 2 of 100,000 orders in Oz for two years unless it was me and to have a 50 k order arrive as well is unheard of on our exchange .
