Sid , in consideration that VW originally put out a tender for supply of Lithium and Cobalt two years ago , where they originally thought they could bully mining companies into submission , the tone of the words negotiating with other suppliers , makes me think they have come to the realization they they are unable to pose their usual authoritarian approach to buying components they need for their supply chain . This I am sure is an advantage of us Aussies , we will not put up with shit , KC , I am sure has held firm in any negotiations we have had over the years . There is just simply no other guaranteed supply for 70 years in Europe .

Sid it only mentions a major of lithium needs , they have not noted the crucial part of their needs , all other lithium suppliers in Europe at the moment are spodumene , can't use spodumene in batteries . I am surprised the market has not responded to mathmatical logic .
