RE: 1 less European competitor for EMH4 Jun 2019 15:31
Old article , wander if VW have learnt their lesson ?????????????????????????
No submissions were offered for Li or cobalt , I bet they are still looking negotiating .
Note quantities !
Volkswagen has called on them to submit a proposal for at least a five-year, but ten-year, contract to supply 80 to 130,000 tons of cobalt a YEAR, starting in 2019. At current prices, Volkswagen would pay 1.6 to 2.4 billion a year dollars, however, given the development of the situation, it can be expected that the prices of this metal will rise.
And I love this bit : "They're arrogant because they're in the car industry and they're used to acting," one of the cobalt dealers commented on the Financial Times.
