If the above really happened that would be the responsibility of Stena. The open hole must always remain covered when well operations are taking place and items like wrenches(spanners} in use on the drill floor when operations are taking place should be tied off.

The next time this share bounces upwards will be if S2 proves successful but by that time the SP will have dropped such that the bounce will reach the OO price so back to status quo. This will continue until the oil sold is more than enough to pay the BOD wages then it may climb some. It is difficult to see where the money will come from to develop the field. The consolidation and the name change will make a good smoke screen.

Egg, I have never attempted to steer anyone anywhere but would i be right in saying that the new CEO to be was on the BOD when BPC was fully, fully, fully etc etc funded for P1 and the one standing down is still in the wings with, I should imagine still quite a lot of influence.

Thewack, If SINOPEC did take over BPC that would be the end of the road for the BOD. Sinopec take no prisoners.

With respect NICODEMUS I would recommend anyone thinking of investing in BPC to check out what current holders are saying not including the arch ramper Starfish as they are known before leaping in. I was a LTH in this company for more than ten years and finally took the loss and invested here. So far so good,

I was with BPC for over ten years, in and out and in fairness made a bob or two on the ups and downs.
Staying invested after Jan 20 when I was in profit was a mistake but I have always been prepared to take the gamble as it is money I could afford to lose although I would rather not have done.
Tomorrow I am likely to convert from a paper loss to an actual one because it is clear BPC is, and probably always has been a lifestyle company for the BOD and looks like that will continue, I will not throw any more money their way. Anyway tomorrow is make your mind up time for me.
