Ok serious question now, popped a bag of sand in on payday, hoping for a bigger bounce than we had this week, I need to take it out today, in at around 23.5 so up a little.
This is not my main holding, was just being cheeky and thought I’d make a couple of hundred extra for Christmas. Do I cash out this morn @25.5 or wait for this afternoons shenanigans ??
Any open thoughts please iv been watching for days but missed the mid bounce earlier in the week due to work.
JRRR,
Hopefully it won’t be too late, the work was hotter than this a few hundred years ago and the seas were a lot higher, I live near a town called Lewes, used to be a sea port, which I’m guessing is about 4 miles inland now. Also been to ancient Troya in turkey, used to be an ancient sea port (yes the Trojan horse Troy) 2000 year history as a sea port.
Human life may change/ be affected but not to such a great extent I hope, maybe we could grow some wine again in the uk. In the 16th cen it was a big wine growing region.
P.s come on EUA
Sorry for my posts, just wish people had the opportunity to look at both sides or at least think about it, interesting the comments about Attenborough? Maybe you should listen to patrick moor’s view on the bbc and him. (P.s one of the founders / ex president of green peace)
Anyway logging off for a while, hoping for a rise today

I’m not in this for the enviro green, I’m in it for the green green. You’d be a fool to think large (decking massive) open pit mining is good for the environment releasing massive amounts of Co2 to produce toxic barreries with low life times and efficiencies is a green way of doing thins.
All I hope for is this to come good in the near future & common sense not false narratives now pushed by “green” companies instead of oil companies. People should do some research on the chemicals needed for these “green” energies, how they are produced and what they destroy.
Look up how much water is required for 1 kilo of lithium, or the rivers destroyed in Tibet for battery Chems.
Maybe it gives people a warm feeling that they are on the side of good (green)
As stated it’s all b.s so let’s hopefully make some money, I know the green companies are!!!!
Germany produces twice the amount of Co2 than France, why?
Because they decided to go wind and solar, France went nuclear. Guess what, Germany don’t have enough power so they have to turn their gas/coal fired power station on.
The green revolution is sadly miss guided.
Nuclear power solves Co2, quick cheap abundant!!!
Dredging the oceans produces billions of Co2, wild bore rummaging for food, I believe produce about 1.3 million tonnes, let’s kill the wild bore!
Just a thought;
China emerges as new world super power, Europe dwindling, let’s bring climate crisis to the front line, tell everyone Co2 is dangerous and we should stop producing it.
Oh no then china is the worst, stop buying their products and sanction them, we’re doing it because weee the good guys!!!!!
Ohhhhhh we can also use this to make any new laws and tax the people more & any one who questions it is evil because they don’t care about the world!!!
Not sure the comment about new posters is 100% true, I read here every day and hardly post, been in EUA for a long time & right or wrong I’m 100% in here now, over exposed and hoping for the best. Sadly new to investing so stop losses loads over time so my average is 22 now holding 100k ish. Got in just after suspension and had to sell half a while back needed the cash. Gla
Pretty sure there is plenty of Co2 produced in open pit mining??? Don’t fool yourself, the green revolution and climate change are both weapons to drive consumerism.
If governments use the word climate crisis, then they open up the possibility of enacting any legislation they so want. No real discussions are to be had.
I hate replying to things like this, but there is always another side to the coin, Amazon in itself has opened the opportunity for 100,000s maybe millions to make far more than they ever would with their own online business.
Additionally to this the world has made massive technological leaps, this has had a direct impact on reduction of poverty, which cannot be denied, this drive in technology was once mainly driven by war and the need to develop the best tech, this now is by big companies. Amazon, Tesla … their space program tech will feed into consumer products making them more efficient and therefore cheaper …..
I very much doubt that a poor person today is anywhere near as poor as their grandparents were???
Buy my oh my it’s been a long growing season and a hard harvest, knowing when to pick the fruit is my biggest dilemma, and monetary commitments has been like a wild bore diminishing my harvest, but I’m tendering what I have hooding for the last days of sun to ripen the fruit.
I like to think of Jam tomorrow, as the consumption of the fruits of your labour.
You plant the seeds, the seeds grow to plants slowly fruiting, you pick the fruit and “shortly” you will have jam.
As you put it in your fridge to cool, you think to yourself “jam tomorrow” reaping the fruits (nice pun) of you’re labour.
Or investment :-)
Some are gonna hate me for this but I have a huge Porsche guzzler ??
512 ponies drink a lot, but it sure is fun, I honestly don’t know how they got such a big beast to go so fast and drive so well.
Back roads are so much fun but relaxing too.
Current fuel prices are killing me though, gonna need the divi just to fill the tank up ??
Sadly current battery tech is not the future, it’s big heavy and does plenty of damage to the environment getting the material and lithium (ask the tibetians and South American’s) not to mention the 10 year life expectancy, but I’m happily invested here due to the mindless sheep told to save the environment by buying ev ????.
Hydrogen should of been the way, but money, power and the economy heh? The green £$€ is expensive for us tax payers.
I live in a country which is responsible for 1% of the global Co2 emissions, yet the billions being spent on forcing the green drive (nice pun) and the extra Co2 taxes are not balanced.
That’s my morning gripe ????
Hears to a lovely end at some point in the future ?? as recently stated had to half my holding at a loss due to cash call, would like to reclaim some of my savings soon ??????
