It's an excitement time for ANPM promotion team to be at ADIPEC 2021 in Abu Dhabi.
It's a great time and we are extremely happy to see that good numbers of companies are showing up on this year event. This has allowed us to speak and promote the 18 blocks to the oil and gas as well energy companies, our CCS projects as well as other transitional energies projects.

Instead of requiring new operators to build large pipelines to connect to the mainland, ANPM has planned for a connected network of pipelines connecting to Greater Sunrise and each other, before a large pipeline transfers the gas from the Greater Sunrise field to the upcoming downstream facilities, including a newly planned onshore LNG plant.
Thanks to this, operators will only have to invest and plan a connection to the Greater Sunrise pipeline.

Currently, ANPM is exploring the potential to stockpile carbon-credits, and offer them to companies investing in offshore and onshore projects in the country, helping EPs reach their goals by making their projects carbon neutral, and financing them more easily.

CCS, absolutely essential for development of their gas fields. Investment appears very close.
Developing oil and gas fields with linked carbon capture storage offers the potential to make them carbon neutral, amid global goals to slash carbon emissions.
"With CCS we are looking forward to develop a commercial model of carbon economies that is relatively attractive in order to be able to tap into the unlocked resources that we have remaining in gas and oil fields," Ferreira told Reuters.
He was speaking from Dubai, where he was promoting 18 oil and gas blocks, with a view of linking them to Bayu Undan CCS, so that the projects could become carbon neutral. Bids are due in March 2022.
The Bayu Undan CCS project is expected to cost "above $1 billion", Ferreira said.
