I preferred it when nothing ever happened. I have been in this for years hoping it would turn around, basic premise is a good idea, their execution must simply be awful.

They also get a lot of money from lending money to their customers. Some of whom now won’t be able to pay back and may default. I dodged a bullet here selling out in Q4 at a bit of a loss. Can’t see a reason buy back in at these prices given the risks.

13% picked up by disruptive capital/ Edi Truell in January Didn't he found this business originally, presumably he wants his ball back? That means 20% picked up in recent months by new investors, suprised the share price has barely moved.

From telegraph...."The rise of electric vehicles is driving BHP Billiton to invest heavily in nickel. The world’s biggest mining house had planned to end its Nickel West mine ­operations in Western Australia, but is now looking to expand them. It expects ­demand for nickel for electric car batteries to account for 90pc of its output within five or six years, replacing traditional markets, such as stainless steel makers. Last year, BHP produced 85,000 tons of nickel, just under 5pc of world supply."

Sold with a healthy profit c.20% and happy to be out, given I am over exposed in retail. Also slightly worried that new FD might end up kitchen sinking it and the lack of currency hedging last year suggests there may be other basics neglected that might come out under a new FD. To those riding the wave up , good luck

Hy to end June came out at end of September last year...but a contract win before thnen would be nice.

I still like Nxt, at these prices i see plenty of potential for growth. They have a strong online model and make good money from the credit terms they offer to online customers. they sholud be able to ride out the hugh street doownturn - it wasn't so long ago these were trading at £8.

Please to see the bounce back today after a bad day yesterday.. gives me confidence that this has further to go, or a least is resilient at this price. GLA.

I first bought in at 90 but doubled up well under 50, so comfortably in profit now.....when to sell though, that is a tough one

Been a long time holding on faith...but a nice move into blue today. Looks like director timed his buy nicely, but not obvious to me what is driving this sudden spkie unless shorters have got bored and gone elsewhere....

Footfall was down 16.6% in shopping centres, so people will read this through into lower sales. Although queue for Next sale was down the high street in my local area... Lets hope the online service, which is excellent, and offers credit facilities (useful after xmas for many) means we come out ahead of other retailers, I am keeping the faith for now, but the whole sector is under pressure.

Announcement on the bank sale published now, so lets hope this does get the share price moving on up. Next business update due in less than a month may otherwise be the next potential boost - I hope!!

Who are the main competitors on the high st? I'm assuming mid price range and large players so m&s (awful results today) , bhs (gone) and debenhams (not doing so well). This suggests we are executing better than those around us and if we can continue to do so, when this market picks up we will be extremely well positioned. Online offering continues to be superior, with credit lines adding substantial margin to the clothing margins ( which will be squeezed by fx/brexit). Im still confident here and hoping for the ride upwards to continue in the medium term ( trump could derail in the short term i guess, will find out tomorrow.

I think the uptick in price reflects the positive October, with an underlying feeling of momentum perhaps taking off from here. The narrowing of outcomes reflects confidence that worst fears of management are not going to materialise this yesr, and will give any shorters pause for thought. Fx movements will continue to play into the s.p., any sterling recovery will help it rise further. I thought it pretty good.

Be interesting to see how things have progressed. Thought this was massively over priced in December but now very good value. The online service is A* and makes money on the financing, whilst the products also seem to have improved this year. Mrs filshare has new boots and new coat which she is very happy with! Doing my best to help drive profits....GLA.

And bump... Back under £4...going to have to whisper more quietly next time Courtier...I am just about back in profit here after months, so lets hope it continues to rise back to early heights... gla...

Ok, thanks. Update today suggests the sale is advanced and still on track, but is there any reason for the sale to actually boost the share price if it does complete - doesnt seem likely that it will just make the shorters up sticks and go away. Key thing will be that we use the proceeds wisely...I assume they will be reinvested rarher than paid out to shareholders...

What is the hurry on the bank sale?, key presumably is to get a great price, and sales always take longer than expected. I would rather we do the 'right' deal than hurry it through to meet an artificial deadline. Is there a market consenus for what the sale will bring in so, if the deal does go through, we know whether we got a good price?
