Regarding mpox, the reason ncyt have sold few tests only is that it is a RUO product and there are another 50 mpox tests listed as available on the WHO site, not all RUO and many Chinese that likely to be cheap!?

It wasn't clear that ours was still RUO until LR confirmed in the presentation but i think he said they planned to work on changing that and definately said that they wanted to add the 1A strain to help! So perhaps that work would make novacyt more competitive in mpox market but we are behind in the product rather than marketing/sales technique it seems. I don't think that they lost an opportunity, more WE were jumping on the potential opportunity to see share price rocket (by sales of a product that isn't currently competitive) !? Sadly so wrong.

NCYT (primerdesign) have a comercially available test!

We just haven't had any update (yet) re sales or even discussions with WHO etc (there was a call for submission of any viable products for use about a week ago from WHO!)

Definately increased in past 2 months in UK but still only a fraction of cases compared with 2022. Would be interesting to see the graph from 2022 to compare gradients....

mind if the products are ready or not, and ours very much are!

It's a US company with agreement to distribute. Their shares up 250% + since Mpox WHO announcement miss August!

Where is Ncyt?

Seems very stagnant considering sentiment mpox plus increased company value with VAT refund?

No sure what rise is about but looks like will be short lived....? Can't even get quote to sell!

The point is that the placing was prior to any vaccine release. Hugely difference position without them!

Meeting last week in US with Avion CEO and they wanted to participate and invest in the portolio. This is a recognition of the confidence felt.
PK study not quite complete but CIDP P3 pivotal study will commence next year as well as the lupus study. "Potential to get to market sooner than for lupus as the way it works".

Agreed. Those involved / in the know are investing. Must be a good sign that things are looking good!

Was all very quiet. I asked a few questions, some of which answered.
Sounded quite positive re Avion partnership and starting phase 3, but approx 2 years to complete!?

So to confirm, we are in same position as last week ie awaiting FDA update and SP just dropping due to impatience.
Must admit I'm getting bored of waiting!
