VELA indirectly invested via their stake in DTL... http://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/197826/nektan-in-ideal-position-following-us-betting-law-change-197826.html (Retweeted by Andrew Neal)

Absolutely agree MM. Cash shell investing is not for everyone - as evidenced by some of the "are we there yet?" posts on here. Personally, I'm happy to hold for as long as it takes. There are very few, if any London listed stocks with 'pure-play' blockchain or crypto-exchange exposure. Confirmation of an RTO in either, which RS alluded to in the Proactive interview is likely to generate substantial financial media attention. So I would much rather be invested now, than when everybody else finds out about it! I admire the tenacity of anyone capable of trading this in the meantime, but the limited free float makes it difficult to sell and buy back profitably with any sort of volume. There is also the risk that the price will rise in anticipation of an announcement, fueled by increasing market awareness that blockchain represents the most significant technical advance since the introduction of the internet. Good luck to all - which ever strategy you pursue!
Great news for VELA through their investment in DTL: http://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/198150/nektan-partners-with-tyche-digital-to-support-cryptocurrency-online-casino-operators
Another success in RS's considerable RTO track record. Will hopefully draw attention to BLOC as investors look for the next sexy cash shell :)
https://www.businessinsider.de/bitcoin-price-crypto-making-comeback-italy-political-crisis-mounts-2018-5?r=US&IR=T No surprise that digital currencies soared today - it could be a long hot summer for the EU. And a glorious one for BLOC if the potential crypto-exchange RTO alluded to by RS in the Proactive interview is successful...
Fully agree - glad BLOC is getting on the radar, but like yourself I believe the fireworks will really start once the right deal is confirmed. Best of luck!
*MortgageFreeman!
At sub 2m ALGW is definitely worth a look. Especially with MorganFreeman invested, as he seems to have the 'Midas Touch' with small caps: whenever he posts on BLOC the share price soars...
@ Aim_Higher is this the sort of volume / price action you were hoping for in your 8.57am post?
Ha ha, I worry about the well-being of anyone who continues to post on the message-board of a stock in which they are not invested, however altruistic their apparent intentions. Come on MF, BLOC fits your low-cap investing remit perfectly - you have to admit it's worth a speculative punt with these guys at the helm!
Given the current price movement MF, it may not be wise to wait for too long before buying in. As mentioned earlier, stock will probably be placed under suspension as soon as RTO confirmed. It may be the deal of the century, it may be a dead duck, but if it's the former there will be little chance to evaluate without paying multiples of the current price. And with RS & JH it's not beyond the realms of possibility that whatever they are working upon will capture the market's imagination. Best of luck however, whatever your investment strategy
MF, BLOC is a sub 3m (half of which held in cash) cash shell - by it's very nature there will be very little company specific information to discuss. Most contributions will therefore be sector related or comments on the management aspiration to pursue a blockchain / crypto-exchange RTO. Until such deal is announced, it's not without merit that investors speculate on this messageboard as to what it may entail. However given the combined track record of RS & JH, there is no reason to suggest that they cannot replicate their considerable previous success with BLOC
Excatly SW, an announcement could arrive any day. And when it does, it's likely that a trading suspension will be imposed immediately. Investors will either be in or out once confirmation of an RTO arrives, and there will be no indication beforehand of the scale or success of the deal, however with the management team BLOC have in place I am happy to hold in anticipation: "So its all about capital gains so much so that neither partner takes a salary for his efforts. Ive always been much more interested in turning one into 10 than turning 10 into 20. Its the same movement but the percentage return for shareholders is far greater, Mr Sargent says." https://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/analysis-and-features/playing-the-shell-game-can-make-or-cost-you-a-fortune-10483885.html
Hi AH, I copied an email from the company that was posted a few months ago which suggests that the first official update from the company regarding a blockchain or crypto-exchange RTO, will only be when confirmation of a deal is confirmed: "Investors can certainly expect greater communications as and when a deal comes to fruition but it is unlikely that you will see this before." I also think that RS and JH are far to credible to risk their considerable reputations by allowing a leak to happen. Any increase in volume and price will be probably be due investors wishing to gain 'pure-play' blockchain exposure in anticipation of a deal, rather than based upon any insider knowledge. With a sub 3m mcap and so few free shares in circulation, it doesn't take much to shift the price of BLOC

Thanks DB - I found the final paragraph particularly inspiring: Among the oil companies BTL is currently working with are Italys Eni S.p.A., Austrias Wien Energie and the U.K.s BP. There are uses for blockchain that could give us a competitive advantage, says David Eton, head of technology for BP, to the Financial Times. Blockchain can be much more efficient in terms of speed and verification of transactions. Great that VELA has so many exciting project within it's portfolio, and looking forward to updates on several fronts this summer!
Still under 3m mcap almost half of which is held in cash. Plenty of scope for significant upside potential in anticipation of news. Good long weekend to all!
