I guess what you have to ask yourself do you see any government, particularly this government and this PM making that call? They had decades to do it and haven't, not even allowed to put a wind turbine up in England let alone the infrastructure to connect it. All guff to me, the real answer is in a UK ring main to take the power from where it's now or will be produced to end user and funnily enough there are several sites across the UK that used to either produce huge amounts of power or use it that are sat right on the coast, Sellafield, Wilfa, Steel works etc, onshore infrastructure is there, would also open up other areas, mid Wales, west coast of Scotland. That ring main wouldn't be contentious but would need huge investment and maritime support companies, hello!

If this is just the beginning I'll class the last twelve months as the warm up, £4.50 here we come! 😉

Back in from a day in the fforest, what did I miss, apart from the usual PM decline, though this time after unusual or becoming usual great updates. Quick trip over 2.50 must have been nice to witness, settled close to previous year high, good. Did miss this morning the rest reduction which I personally like to see, symbolic divi confirmed and taken well, all press appears v good.

What will tomorrow bring? Not knocking those who took profit, well done, but sorry hope you're wrong for my own greed. After hours look promising for a blue day tomorrow, would be great to get some upgrades to keep the momentum.

Must admit that for that side of the business I have very limited knowledge, Chilting amongst other would be best to comment. My response would be who are our competitors, not Asda and Tesco, Sainsbury and Waitrose? If so, considering their reputational declines and the time it would take to turn that around are we not way ahead of them in terms of product with quantity building? I'm also amazed or aghast at the time it's taken for us to get to where we are with home delivery but I'd rather be where we are than they.
