Neil Woodford screwed up towards the end there is no denying that but until that point he was one of the best and I would invest in him again ,
I lived just out side Henley on Thames when Neil started at what was then called Perpetual and got to know him a little and I always found him really nice but he was a very “ confident “ person so did attract the bashers quite early I’m afraid so the knives were ready nearing his demise

Repsol got paid out so we’ll get paid out. The biggy is ... how much ???? And I’m beginning to feel a little more confident that it won’t be a small amount of penny’s!!!
This has been hanging over us a while now (understatement) but imagine sitting on the sidelines in the US waiting for the bell to go !!!
I imagine a few institutions are probably already talking to the likes of Invesco although with Bennet now gone I’m not sure they still hold ?

Yes and it's the downside that worries me ,,, I don't think Burford could have got this far without listing on AIM but now they are where they are would it be a problem if they were suddenly a private co ??/ I do keep worrying that" it would be up to shareholders " should there be a "hostile" takeover . I'm the last person to bash Bogart but I was uncomfortable with that reply !
I'll be a lot happier when the dual listing is done and the sp is higher that's for sure ( I've had two investments taken out so wary of that )

I get Law . com a couple of times aa day but haven't open them the last few days so would have missed that .
What it does answer is that we are the first to float in the USA and I was unsure about that .
This may be unfair but reading between the lines , was there a bit of envy in William Farrell's comments ?

526k traded today ? I can’t remember the last time interest was that low !!!! Or is it just that we’ve lost most of the traders recently ? Keep hold very tightly then this has no choice but to head north
