Pennylots I can’t speak for TWT but he may well view Burford the same way as I do and for that you have to be prepared to be long here !!! If he believes as I do that a loss in the Petersen case will merely put a tempory dent in the sp but still have huge potential going forward (patience required) then he’ll stock up again whilst cheap !!! If you have a short timescale and worried about losing a good bit then I suggest you review the size of your investment? Only you know what your prepared to lose if you are only here short term. It will be a difficult balance to wrestle with but only you can do that. Big reward verses big risk ? I will say that the time it takes preska to reach a conclusion won’t favour either them or us in my opinion!

The last couple of days I’ve been pondering if the Petersen case has the potential to influence the sp so much that it might be necessary to suspend trading whilst the announcement is made ??? Is that ridiculous? Any comments/ thoughts ???? And given trading in US and here are different times when will announcement is made ??

Good luck to you , there’s certainly a lot of stock around at the moment that seems cheap atm , I grabbed some Lloyds a little while ago , because they’ve always paid reasonable divs more than anything (unlike Burford!) but did seem cheap
